• The Digital Merchandising mobile application, called ADMS on the phone, enables a
user to automatically capture P&G products in store.
• The application uses a simple process of photographing the store‟s fixture and uploading

Photographer Position
The best photos (and hence most accurate reporting results) are produced when the photographer is
positioned at a distance of 2-3 steps from the shelf to ensure the camera captures about 3 shelves in focus.

Obstacles
Pictures should be front facing, in focus, at the correct distance with no obstacles in the way.
Some shelves have clipstrips on them which obstruct what can be seen by the camera.
It is recommended that you slide the clip strip along when taking pictures so they do not stop the system
from recognising SKUs in the pictures sent.
NB: Do not remove
clipstrips, they must remain
on shelf.

If you do not have enough room to take 2-3 steps backwards and you cannot capture everything in one
photo, you should take multiple photos in this order trying to overlap them by approximately 20% :
IMPORTANT: Images must overlap and must be taken in the order shown above.
TIPS:
In general, for a 2m shelf,
you need 4 images.
To help overlap pictures,
select an image that stands
out as a marker
