AnswerKey

The AnswerKey function exists so participants can answer questions using their Qwizdom handsets outside of a live PowerPoint presentation.

It allows students/trainees to participate in a self-paced environment.

• Simply tell the software the correct answer and it will mark the work for you

How it Works

Creating an AnswerKey Session

1. Go to your Programs menus and select AnswerKey2. Click the insert question icon:3. Click the Type field and select question type4. Click the Answer field and set correct answer (if

applicable)5. (Optional) Set grading options and number of points

Repeat as required

Saving an AnswerKey Session

1. When the AnswerKey session is created click the Save icon and a Save As window will open

2. Select location and filename. It will save as a .QAK file

3. (Optional) Save to Content Manager within AnswerKey

Presenting an AnswerKey Session

1. Click the Start Session Icon: A new window will open

2. (Optional) Select participant list3. Select where to save results4. Select the options you would like available during

the session in the General, Login and Display tabs5. Click Ok to start the session and the privacy screen

will appear

Viewing Feedback and Ending an AnswerKey Session

1. Click the red ‘X’ (within the window) to show a grid of all participants and their progress

2. The software will show when each participant has responded using their remote

3. When all answers are completed click End Session4. You will be taken back to the AnswerKey maker

window and the saved results will be in the location you selected

AnswerKey

The AnswerKey function allows me to let my class work at their own speed through a spelling test. I have a number of existing paper-based tests and I simply saved the correct answers into the software and the tests are marked for me immediately.

AnswerKey

I use AnswerKey to recap on homework from the last lesson. My pupils have already completed their homework and I run an AnswerKey session to get them to input their answers. This works to mark their homework and as a revision session for the pupils.
