• Yet most engines are not built for slowsteaming
• Danger of over lubrication
• At lower RPMs, cold corrosion is likely to happen, unless the engine is equipped with cylinder lubricators that are designed to meet slowsteaming requirements

BN is needed to neutralize acids. You do not need more oil, but better use and distribution. Injection frequency should be 1:1

• Cylinder liners on G-engines are more challenging to lubricate adequately.
• Prone to extensive wear due to the long distance from injection point to TDC
