Basic

• H2 plant is the unit which produce Hydrogen (H2), as product process reaction between feed gas (hydrocarbon) from natural gas and feed steam.

• To get higher conversion in the reformer, as main reactor, reformer will be continoue wtih High Temperature Shift Converter (HTSC) reactor

• H2-Plant completed with a Hydrogen purification unit which named pressure swing adsorbtion (PSA) and feed treatment unit

• This plant can produce high purity hydrogen 99,9%

Raw material

Use natural gas with the composition:• H2 14,05 % mole dry• C1 62,28 %• C2 6,17 %• C3 7,38 %• C4 4,56 %• C5 1,09 %• H2S 50 ppm• Berat Molekul : 20,5

And use steam for the reaction

The reaction

• CH4 + H2O = CO + 3H2 (reaksi utama, endothermic)

• CO + H2O = CO2 + H2 (reaksi samping, eksotemis, porsi kecil)

Suhu reformer ± 800 oC
