Introduction
• The idea and its novelty• Development guidelines to come a fully-
functional prototype• Internationality of the project• Market and competitors
Tazzini G., Apreda R., Fantoni G. 4
The idea and its novelty
• Starting point: the crowdsourcing model
• Company rewards only the winner
Problem
Solution
Tazzini G., Apreda R., Fantoni G. 5
The idea and its novelty
• Problems in Crowdsourcing platform:– To guarantee the fair reward– To reach an agreement about the real contribution
of each participant– To give a chance to all participants to learn from
the problem solving process• Starting point: KBS paradigm (Knowledge,
Business and Social implication)
Tazzini G., Apreda R., Fantoni G. 6
The idea and its novelty
• Propose Features of the LILIT platform: – Effective equality among peers– Fairness of the reward and protection of ideas– Discovery of hidden knowledge to capture the
heuristics– Dedicate and customized suggestions– Human-driven machine learning
• Central point:“I solve a problem and I teach you, you solve a problem and you teach me”.
Tazzini G., Apreda R., Fantoni G. 7
Development guidelines to come to a fully-functional prototype
• Many tools to save and enrich the workTool name Goal Short description Functioning
Radar Suggest the best team to work in a problem solving session
Use the output information of Rewind with a series of other parameters
Interpolates the output of discussion with users’ profiles and with existing knowledge.
Rewind Connect people and their ideas and track the solvers’ behaviors, strategies and methods.
Tool for understand the way people solve problems and discover which are the natural solution patterns. It helps finding which heuristics are most efficient since closer to natural functioning of mind.
Scans the problem solving session to find the connection of solvers and ideas. This is possible thanks to a specific Computational Linguistic algorithms.

• Many tools to save and enrich the work
Tool name Goal Short description Functioning
Past Plus Total access to Cultural Resources.Management of knowledge
Enables the recovering of the information present in technical and scientific literature
PAST plus enables the clever extraction of inventive principles, smart solutions and technical “tricks of the trade”.
Booster Suggests creative hints to solvers in a systematic way
Provides a series of visual and ideal cues to boost imagination and suggests new uncharted horizons
Search several databases for solutions and variants (technical, biological, artistic, visual, etc.). Proposes a cloud of hints.
Development guidelines to come to a fully-functional prototype

Internationality of the project
• The idea is ready for the internationalization:
– Algorithms just based on English– Servers run 24/7
• Doubt:
– To check the system when it is at fully capacity

Market and Competitors
• Area USA:– Innocentive– NineSigma
• Euro: – IdSpace
Tazzini G., Apreda R., Fantoni G. 11
• Product and service development
• Students, researchers, professors in University
• Freelancers, pensioners, workers and so on
