The Connected Terminal Visibility and Monitoring Technologies that improve efficiency
Globe Tracker Interna4onal, ApS
Is Changing the Way the Supply Chain Thinks about Asset Tracking, Monitoring and Remote Management
On Land, Sea and Rail
• Many different types of communica2ons all having to feed data into one Terminal Opera2ng System
• Methods for communica2on inside terminals are not ideally suited for the challenging metal dense environment
• Most of the systems do not have alternate communica2ons to ensure reliable data transfer
Terminal Communica4ons Challenges
• Terminal equipment in general is built to communicate based on what is easiest for the equipment not the terminal
• Terminal equipment have a narrow repor2ng purpose
• Difficulty with IT integra2on of different data sets
Terminal Communica4ons Challenges cont’

Warehouse/depot has Infrastructure Units
Globe Tracker Cargo Trackers are integrated into Smart Pallets and communica2on with a GT Infrastructure Unit when inside the terminal cargo loading area. The GT Infrastructure Units report when the Smart Pallet arrives in the cargo area and when leaves.

All sensors in the box are associated electronically with the cargo inside(box with Cargo Tracker).
• GT Infrastructure Units provide reliable communica2ons as they collect data from terminal and container assets in addi2ons to monitoring of peripherals and sensors
• GT Infrastructure Units are smart and change their method of communica2on on the fly from GSM to Wi-‐Fi to RF in order to gain a connec2on when other devices fail
• The versa2lity of the solu2on extends all the way to cargo logis2cs where individual pallets and boxes can be tracked and monitored on the same plaQorm
