What is Fin?

Fin is a tiny wearable device that you can wear on the thumb of your hand as a ring and it will make your whole palm and fingers as a numeric keypad and gesture space.

History● Developed by RohildevN who grew up in Kerala.● Eight months ago he established RHL vision

technologies to work on touchless technologies, a project he choose in his final year of UG.

Working

● By tucking an optical sensor into a the ring, the Fin is able to detect swipes and taps across your hand.

● When it detects a gesture, it sends that command to connected device via Bluetooth.

● Swiping your thumb down your index finger, for example could turn your phone’s volume down.

● Want to turn it back up? Just swipe back up across the same finger.

● Want to change the track, for example. Just swipe your thumb across the other hand’s palm.

● It supports five gestures. Swipe right, swipe left, swipe up, swipe down and Finger tap.

Applications

● Fin can control your smart TV,hence no need for remote.

● It can change channel,adjust volume by only afinger swipe.

● Makes your interaction a loteasier and interactive.

● Fin can be used to attendcalls.

● You can also dial thenumbers from your palm.

● Controlling other utility like volume control.

● Click photos with ease byconnecting Fin to your camera.
