ExecutiveEdge: Future-Proof Your Business

ExecutiveEdge closed out the day with a session on preparing your business for the future, which included talks on transforming the economics of IT and services for enterprise-level hybrid IT.

Developments in Flash memory and the new POWER8 are two examples of high-end technology that’s available at a low TCO to enterprises today.

Cal Braunstein, CEO, Robert Frances Group, said the speed of technological change shouldn’t lead to decreasing investment in key components. When planning to invest in infrastructure, he said, spending a little more in the short run pays off with a more efficient stack and technology that makes an enterprise more competitive.
