2. 2 Every year 14th December is celebrated as National Energy Conservation Day and subsequent week is celebrated as National Energy Conservation Week. Accordingly, we at PIAGGIO Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Baramati celebrated the Week 18th December to 25th December as Energy Conservation Week. The objective is to create awareness about Energy Conservation in organization & at Home. On this occasion, we had organized various competitions like: Slogan on Energy Conservation Suggestions for Energy Saving Poster / Drawing Theme: Energy Conservation Essay competition : Energy Conservation A need of Hour Activities on Energy Conservation 3. 3 Banners & Posters depicting importance of Energy Conservation & Everybodys Role in this Campaign were displayed. 4,000 leaflets distributed for all employees - highlighting household Energy Consumption & Tips for Reducing Energy consumption. A Programme was organized in local School (Vidya Pratisthans). The need of energy Conservation & how to start it with our home was explained to Students (approx. 800 1000 Students) were present. The Principal & School Staff of the School have also participated wholeheartedly. They were also given an Oath on Energy Conservation. Activities on Energy Conservation 4. 4 Activities on Energy Conservation A Workshop was arranged at our Auditorium, where Baramati MIDC Industries (M/s. Scriber Dynamix, M/s. Spentex Limited, M/s. Bharat Forge, and M/s. Insofer Ltd.), have shared their initiatives on Energy Conservation. PIAGGIO also explained our initiatives and Actions on Energy Conservation. This was very good knowledge sharing experience. An Exhibition was arranged in-front of Reception for displaying Energy Conservation Equipments where-in Five Companies exhibited & explained the Products. The Participated companies were M/s. Bintex Control, M/s. Span Control Systems, M/s. Alter Wind Mills, M/s. Delta Control along with L & T Switch Gear and M/s. Sunbeam Rivget 5. 5 Energy Conservation Week Celebration Energy Conservation Activities Various Competitions organized for all Employees. 4000 Leaflets distributed Highlighting Household Energy Consumption & Tips to Reduce Energy Organized a program at Vidya Pratisthans Marathi Medium School (Approx. 800 Students were present) Explained the Importance of Energy Savings. Posters & Banners displayed across the organization Depicting Importance of Energy Conservation Seminar organized at Auditorium where Industries from MIDC Baramati have Shared their Initiatives on Energy Conservation Exhibition of Energy Saving Equipments In-Front of Reception 6. 6 A Programme was organized in Vidya Pratisthans Marathi Medium School at MIDC Baramati. The Principal Mrs. Taware has welcomed PIAGGIO Team and addressed about the Objective of this event Need of Energy Conservation & How to Start it with our Home, Explained to the Students of VPMMS 7. 7 Mr. SM Deo has explained the Need of Energy Conservation & How to Start it with our home to the Students of VPMMS (approx. 800 1000 were present). The Principal & Staff of the School have also participated wholeheartedly. The Students were also given an Oath on Energy Conservation. Thus for every energy unit saved in a building; we save 3 times as many of production level ! In short, Energy efficiency is the quickest, cheapest and cleanest way to reduce energy consumption and achieve lower green house gas emission.
