About the system

Presentation of Efento Cloud platform

Technical specifications of devices

● Efento Cloud is a server platform gathering, storing, and processing data from Efento sensors

● The platform is ideal for dispersed facilities or any facilities requiring monitoring of parameters in many points, such as pharmaceutical wholesalers, cold stores, warehouses

● The data can be sent to the platform from any location, and the user can access it via a web browser

● The platform allows users to view the data, generate reports from any period of time and get SMS / email notifications in case a parameter exceeds safe value

Efento CloudEfento Cloud is a system for monitoring temperature and humidity, with SMS / email notifications and with remote access to the measurement data and reports

Key featuresEfento Cloud supports all functions necessary for effective and convenient control of temperature and humidity in dispersed locations/facilities

SMS / EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS & ALERTS

Once temperature / humidity / pressure threshold is exceeded, user is notified by SMS / email message

AUTOMATIC REPORTS

Measurement data can be sent to any email address in the form of a PDF or CSV report. The frequency of reporting is adjustable.

PRESENTATION OF DATA

Measurement data from any period of time can be presented in a clear form of graphs or tables

SCHEME OF LOCATIONS

The platform enables mapping the structure of any organization in the form of a tree and assigning individual sensors to its branches

DIFFERENT LEVELS OF ACCESS RIGHTS

Access rights for different users can be limited both in terms of privileges and areas/locations

FACILITY LAYOUT / MAP

Each location can be shown in the form of a floor plan / map with the deployment of sensors

How it worksThe system consists of Efento wireless sensors, Efento Gateways gathering and transmitting the measurement data, and Efento Cloud server platform receiving all the data

Sensors measure temperature, humidity and barometric pressure and send the data via Gateway to Efento Cloud

The measurement data can be sent to Efento Cloud simultaneously from many facilities / locations, even hundreds kilometers away one from another

All the data goes to safe Efento Cloud platform that stores and process it The users of the

system have access to the data from anywhere in the world via web browsers - on computers or smartphones / tablets

If a monitored parameter is exceeded, user is alerted by SMS or email

Why Efento Cloud?Efento Cloud is a convenient, easy to configure, scalable and cost-effective solution

ACCESS FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

Users log in to the platform via web browsers, no additional software needed

CLOUD PLATFORM

Software updating and maintenance is provided by the manufacturer for one-time license fee. There is no subscription fee!

UNLIMITED NUMBER OF USERS

Any number of users can access sensors’ data, you can assign specific access rights to each of them

SCALABILITY

The data can come to the platform from any number of facilities, no matter whether it is 10 or 1000. The configuration is always the same

LOW IMPLEMENTATION COSTS

Wireless communication technology reduces the installation cost and the cloud platform minimizes implementation and maintenance costs

EASY CONFIGURATION AND OPERATION

The system has been designed so that it can be configured and used by anyone. The configuration takes max 15 minutes

Data securityEfento Cloud has been designed with a strong emphasis on data security issues

Secure platform SSL-encrypted connections Secure data storage

Efento Cloud uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), belonging to the most secure servers in the world. With this infrastructure, Efento Cloud provides full redundancy - if a server with Efento Cloud fails, the service automatically starts the backup server and the user will not even see any difference in the operation of the platform.

The data transmission between Efento Gateways and Efento Cloud is encrypted (SSL), so no-one is able to get unauthorized access or intercept the information. The access to the data is possible only for the user of the platform and people authorized by the user.

The data is stored on the platform, in memory of Efento gateways and in memory of Efento sensors. In the case of a temporary malfunction of any component, the data is automatically updated to ensure continued consistency. The gateways can store measurement data for up to 6 weeks, so even a longer failure of Internet connection will not cause data loss.

DashboardAll the most important information in one place

The list contains sensors with current measurements, status and information about exceeded alarm thresholds

Sensors can be grouped in any way e.g. by assignment to a location

Filters allow users to sort sensors depending on their status (normal, lost, alarm, low battery, switched off) and to mark “favorite” ones

The range of information from the dashboard can be displayed on the map / floor plan. The sensors can be freely positioned on the map /plan.

The status of each sensor is shown by a suitable icon

For each location, the user can assign a different map

After moving the cursor onto a selected sensor, additional information is shown

The measurement data can be presented in the form of a graph that can be freely enlarged

The data can be presented on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis

The measurement data can also be presented as a table

The table shows data on a daily basis, the information from other periods is available in the form of pdf / csv reports

SettingsConfiguring sensors

Group edition of sensors enables convenient and quick change of their settings and activation / deactivation

Ability to create any structure (e.g. on geographical or functional basis)

New devices appear on the list of new sensors, they can be named and moved to any location

The table displays all sensors, the user can edit their settings, and enable SMS / email alerts

Each sensor can be named and assigned to a location

The list contains all alarm rules assigned to selected sensor

Alarm rulesSetting thresholds of the environmental parameters measured and establishing recipients of SMS / email alerts

The user can create any number of alarm rules. When an alarm occurs, the system can send email or SMS notification to any recipient

The alarm can be triggered by exceeding a threshold, loss of communication with the sensor or low battery

An alarm can automatically generate SMS or email notifications sent to any recipients. The number of the recipients of the alert is not limited.

Physical parameter subjected to an alarm rule with a threshold (e.g. air humidity above 35% RH)

Selection of sensors subjected to the rule

ReportsManual and automatic export of measurement data in PDF and CSV formats

The user can generate the report in csv or pdf format

The report can cover any period of time and contain measurements, information on alarms and technical data (e.g. low battery messages)

To generate a report, the user should choose the sensor(s). The report can cover any number of sensors, e.g. the entire group of sensors located in Krakow.

It is also possible to configure automatic reports that will be sent by email e.g. once a day or once a week

Information on exceeded thresholds, low battery messages, loss of communication sensor - platform

Sensor name, serial number, time period of the report

Time parameters

Temperature / humidity / pressure measurements

Access rights managementDetermining access rights to selected locations and permission levels

The administrator (Admin) can manage all user accounts in the system

Any user can get access to selected locations at one of three permission levels. The user of administrator account can configure the system (e.g. formulate alarm rules, assign sensors to users in a given location, add new users), manager account gives access to the data and the ability to change some settings (e.g. alarm rules, sensor configuration, automatic reports), and analyst account gives access to the data without ability to change any settings.

New user is registered in the system by the Admin by entering personal data, user name, password and email address

System logsRegistration of changes in system settings and alarm history

System logs record all changes and events in the system, such as adding new users, changing sensor configuration, changing report formats, alarms on exceeding thresholds

Additionally, the logs include information on the user who has made a change and on the time of the change

Efento GatewayEfento Gateway provides connectivity between Efento sensors and the platform

Efento Gateway is equipped with Bluetooth and Ethernet interfaces, which allows for reception of measurements from sensors and transmission of the data to Efento Cloud platform. Efento Gateway has built-in memory which is used for storing the data provided by the sensors. In the case of temporary communication problems between the gateway and server, the lacking data can be sent after the resumption of the communication. Your data has never been so safe!

Built-in memory Efento Gateway can save up to 100 000 measurements - in the case of temporary loss of connection, the lacking data can be sent after its resumption.

Easy configuration The device is pre-configured and can operate just after taking it out of the box. Additional configuration takes less than 5 minutes!

Support for up to 100 sensors

One Efento Gateway can transmit measurements from 100 temperature, humidity and pressure sensors.
