**The RFA recommends pHe stability testing for 16 weeks along with corrosion testing initially and after 16 weeks storage. In the corrosion tests, the candidate ethanol is evaluated as an E10 blended using gasoline with a E0 rating of “C”. In these tests, we used a gasoline with an E0 rating of “E” because a “C” NACE fuel could not be found. By definition, NACE “E” is 50-300% more corrosive than “C” NACE gasoline. EC5624A PLUS are approved for use in ethanol shipped to Magellan Pipeline @ 10 PTB.
