How to Print with Dragon Printer on Your

iPad

Make sure you have downloaded the freeDragon Printer app from the app store.

1. Open the drawer by tapping on the lines.

2. Tap on Printer Wizard.

3. Tap on the printer in the upper right corner.

4. Tap on “Specify IP.”

5. Type the printers IP address into the IP box.

6. Tap on “Done” on your keyboard and wait for the “Model” and “Location”

boxes to fill.

7. After the boxes fill tap on Add (Print Test Page). A test page will print. If you can see all the words on the test page, even though the

image is cut off, all is good. Tap on yes.

8. Your printer’s IP address will appear.

9. You can print anything in your camera roll from the Dragon Printer app by

tapping on Photos.

10. Then tap on Print.

11. A preview of what you are printing will appear.

12. Tap on the gear to change orientation, scale, and paper size.

13. Tap on the printer to adjust copies and page range. Then tap

Print.

Note: Since this is a free app ads will appear periodically. Just tap

the X to close them.

Many apps will allow you to print from within the app. Here’s how:

1. Tap on the Wrench and/or Share button (it will vary depending on the

app).

2. Tap on “Open in Another App.”

3. If given a choice, choose PDF.

4. Tap on Choose App. Then choose Dragon Printer.

5. The document will open in Dragon Printer with a preview of what the

printed document will look like.

6. Tap the share button in the upper right corner. Tap on Print.

7. Choose the correct printer from the list of IP addresses.

8. Choose your orientation and size.

9. Choose your copies and page range. Then print!
