It is a technology to sense, transmit and receive scent-enabled digital media (such as web pages, video games, movies and music).

It is based on virtual reality concept.

It is a device involved in the generation of scents. For example: DigiScent’s iSmell device (1999)

128 chemicals are stored. Similar to an ink jet printer.
