The 3 R’s of Water Harvesting: RAIN RECOVER REUSE

CULTEC’s residential rainwater harvesting (CRRH) program greatly reduces the demands on an al-ready strained clean water supply. Many normal household demands for clean water can be greatly reduced by recovering household stormwater. Normal activities such as irrigation or exterior cleaning can be achieved by using the water supplied by the CRRH system.

Benefi ts of the System:

• Reduced demands on the water supply is benefi cial to the environment.• Creates a reserve of a suitable water source at no additional cost or environmental impact.• Elimination of poor drainage around the house thus eliminating puddles or wet areas in the lawn.• Cost effective solution as opposed to purchasing clean water. • Environmentally sound solution utilizing a Best Management Practice (BMP) with low impact.• Earn LEED Credits for installations of the CRRH system.• Maybe used for fi re prevention, sprinkler reserve.
