DESCRIPTION
It’s an exciting time to be working in molecular biology right now. In particular the technological advances in sequencing technology, referred to as “next generation sequencing”. These allow DNA to be sequenced on an unprecedented scale, at low cost. This presentation looks at the grand challenges to which NGS can be applied, and takes on the big question; could, if push came to shove, genomics save the world? Presentation given by William Spooner at SciBarCamb on 21st April 2012
