Images

The images on ‘KERRANG’ content page shows artist that they will be featuring in the magazine. Most of the images are not done in high quality shoots as if it would be on the front cover. For example some of them are just token from a live gig. The images all show the kind of bands that the magazine would feature and the music genre.

Font, Colour and LanguageThe fonts used on the content are very clear and easy to read, also is more structured unlike the front cover. The inform colour is yellow and black: both very bold and alluring. The background on the yellow fonts are black and the background on the black font are yellow this is a very clear and good contrast, which makes it easy to read. Also the colours are appropriate for the style of the magazine . The other sub main articles are accompanied with a picture of the band showing some importance and eye catching .

AdvertsThe adverts go in well with the magazine, they are about some of the bands that the magazine issue, so this would be interesting for the target audience.

The idea of having the front cover on the content page is good because is reminds the reader of what they are reading and instead of them going back to look at the font cover they can just see it there on the corner.

Banner. The banner at the top of the page includes the magazine title and the date on which NME issue was released, and as the magazine promotes 'NME This Week', it tells the readers that there is a new edition released every week, and they may therefore go and buy the magazine next week if they enjoy reading it, as they now know how many times it is released and when.

The main picture is accompanied by a small piece of information that is in bigger text than the writing surrounding it, giving the readers some extra information about UK gigs and tours, and how they were received/reviewed

The bigger text draws attention to the information, and makes the readers think that they are getting more than they paid for, as not many music magazine have this sort of information on the contents page On the left hand side of the page there is a column of red text that goes all the way down the page, which is the band index.

It lists all the bands that are featured in the magazine and on which page people will be able to find them, allowing the readers to find bands that interest them and read that article with little effort, as they don't have to go through the whole magazine to look for artists that may interest them.

There is one main medium close-up shot of an artist that is in the focus and is supposed to be on the cover too. The artist is looking straight into the cover making the picture very deep and emotional. The clothing fits into the colour-scheme and the hairstyle harmonizes with the issue’s style.

This content page is keeping the cover’s colour theme of gay, black and red, which emphasizes associates with the brand. The compartments are well-structured and easy to understand and so are the article titles. The page numbers are written in a contrasting colour, red or white, to be easily observed. Under each article title there are placed some detailing to give an idea about the content.

On the bottom of the page,there is a quote written in red that is supposed to awake the curiosity of the readers.
