FRP is a strengthening tool

Conventional strengthening tools– Concrete enlargement (shotcrete),

underpinning, post tensioning, steel platesFiber-reinforced polymers (FRP)

– A composite system (carbon/glass fabric + epoxy matrix) used to augment another composite system (concrete + rebar)

Formats: “wrap”, prefab: dowel bars, plates, strips
