The Centre for Community Organizations - COCo’s mission is to promote social justice, active citizenship, democracy, and just socio-economic development by supporting the development of healthy organizations and strong communities through education.

Our 6 strategic directions:
1. Create opportunities to better support existing and budding social justice movements.
2. Increase anti-oppression capacity within community groups.
3. Promote the autonomous generation and use of community-based action research amongst groups (including at COCo).
Our 6 strategic directions:
4. Increase awareness, among groups, of organizational structures that are more collaborative, more democratic and less hierarchical.
5. Continue to provide information and support to promote organizational health and development.
6. Continue to develop COCo’s organizational model and infrastructure.
