Blog
• a website where entries (or posts) are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order
• can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

• a web application which contains periodic time-stamped posts on a common webpage
• posts are often but not necessarily in reverse chronological order
• typically accessible to any Internet user• format of varies, from simple bullet lists of
hyperlinks, to article summaries with user-provided comments and ratings

• individual weblog entries are almost always date and time-stamped
• newest post at the top of the page• reader comments often appearing below it • most blogs have a way of archiving older
entries and generating a static address for individual entries
• static link is referred to as a permalink
