ANALYSIS OF POLL RESULTS

• The poll shows that the majority of people voted for ‘Yes’. This could be a sensible option, however from my form research I feel confident emulating a demon or supernatural antagonist through post production, so this question may need to be followed through to the focus group.

Q1 – WOULD AN ANTAGONIST BE MORE SCARY WITH A MASK

• The statistic from my poll show that the ‘suspense’ option was the most popular, which is as I suspected, this feature will be manipulated in the trailer to leave the audience excited with suspense and anticipation to see the film.

Q2 – DO YOU WATCH HORRORS FOR SUSPENSE OR VIOLENCE?

• House got the most votes, which is fortunate as our whole script revolved around the location being a house! It is interesting to know that this option was most popular anyway.

Q3 – WHICH LOCATION WOULD YOU FIND THE MOST SCARY FOR A HORROR?

• The majority of people voted for ‘No’ which is useful, as know we can confidently follow convention and go for a simplistic layout for the magazine instead of using space for promotions.

Q4 – WOULD YOU BE MORE INTERESTED IN A HORROR MAGAZINE WITH A FREE GIFT?
