DESCRIPTION

Fujitsu Executive Solution Session at Oracle OpenWorld 2012 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- An Update on SPARC Platform Collaboration Between Oracle and Fujitsu A variety of myths in the industry will be busted in this session. Fujitsu presented the world’s fastest supercomputer at Oracle OpenWorld 2011. At this year’s Oracle OpenWorld, Fujitsu is providing a roadmap update for the collaboration between the two firms. The combination of fast and scalable SPARC processor design, Fujitsu”s new supercomputer technology, and Oracle’s systems software expertise are further evolving this winning platform. The SPARC-based systems are ideal for cloud computing, big data processing, and mission-critical computing, because of their speed, capacity, and reliability. Fujitsu and Oracle engineers are ensuring that SPARC systems run well with next generations of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Database, and other Oracle software products. Also, learn more from this session on what Fujitsu has done in response to Japan’s 3/11 disaster.
