Our HistoryThe Early Years 1981-1993
Founded in 1981 by Robert Heuer and David Vikartofsky with the goal of improving automobile radio repair cycle time in the Chicago area. Operations begin on September 14 in a 1500 square foot facility in Edison Park.
1982 – Company acquires warranty agreements with General Motors and Delco Electronics to repair audio products-started repair of electronic climate controls for Delco Electronics in 2nd Edison Park facility.

1983 - After outgrowing both Edison Park facilities company combines operations in new Schiller Park facility-company awarded electronic engine control program and electronic speedometer repair program from Delco Electronics-Waukesha Wi location opens-workforce expands
1984-Company begins distribution and installation of OEM and aftermarket accessories to automobile dealers
1984-1988-Ford and Chrysler select company to provide warranty support services -company pursues aggressive marketing strategy to add auto dealer customers nationwide

1988- Further growth drives move to new facility in Addison, IL. –wireless sales agreement signed with Cellular One - workforce expands
1990 Company acquires Motorphones of Skokie and expands wireless sales business to 7 locations
1993-Company reaches milestones of 30 million in revenue and 330 employees – over 1,000,000 units repaired

1994 -Company adds wireless corporate sales group and increases dealer installation and distribution business
GM begins supplier cost reduction initiatives driven by Lopez-company retains all contracts but at lower margin
1995 Company begins DBA Advanced Technical Services to develop identity outside of automotive industry

1996-engine control production volume reaches 12000 units per month-2nd and 3rd shifts added
Company wins 2nd round of Lopez induced bidding-all contracts retained at lower margins
1999-Company does not win 3rd round of bidding-GM radio and cluster business begins phase down– workforce reduced
2000 - Company enters Fleet Services industry with Minor Plant to support Southwestern Bell vehicle tracking installation project in 16 states
Company enters Telecom power industry with Power Conversion Products (Eltek) repair agreement

2001-Company assumes entire reverse logistics and repair program for AB Dick
Company moves operations to new Carol Stream facility 2002-Company secures agreements with Siemens to
support their navigation RMA process with Ford and Audiovox
2003-Company inks agreement to provide warehousing, activation and forward logistics support to Sirius Radio
2004-Company acquires assets of SRS in St Paul, MN

2004-Company enters wireless repair business and assumes entire Cellular One repair operation
2005 -Telecom business increased with addition of new models from Eltek
2006 - Company enters support agreement with Audiovox communications and provides triage and repair of 50,000 handsets
2008 - Company provides 2nd round of installation services for AT&T – over 9000 GPS tracking systems installed in AT&T fleet

2007-Company enter into agreement to provide warehousing and forward logistics services to ITW / Ramset
2008-Company chosen as key Eltek Valere reverse logistics outsourcing partner – company assumes portion of Eltek repair operations-Telecom power business expands
2009-Company chosen as single source reverse logistics provider for Magnetek / Myers Power rectifier support.
2010-Company begins project based support of Power Var power rectifiers
2010-Company chosen as key reverse logistics services provider to Comcast
