A Tour of the Folder Manager

The Folder ManagerThe Folder Manager is the place you go to make changes to a folder in a website.

You get here by clicking on the folder from the website manager.

It contains two tabs….EDIT and MANAGE. The tabs are clickable.

The Edit TabThe EDIT TAB contains everything you need to edit your folder.

•View Live- will show you the folder display page on the live website.•Publish Folder- make all the pages within the folder live on the web•Add Page- will add a page to the folder.•Add Folder- will add a folder within this folder. This is also known as a subfolder.

If you click on a page within the folder you will be brought to that page’s Page Manager. You can edit or manage the page there.

If there is a subfolder in this folder, you can click on that and go to that folder’s Folder Manager.

The Manage Tab•Folder Change Log- shows all the actions taken on this folder.•Edit Properties- you can make changes to the folders properties here. Properties include:

•Name•Web Address•Show page in navigation•Display page settings.

•Edit Security - you can make the folder , and the pages within it, secure to a person or sharing group.•Delete Folder- will remove the folder and the pages/subfolders within it from the website
