Josh Kovacs is the manager of a residential apartment in New York. He is close to all the tenants, especially Arthur Shaw, a businessman.

One day Shaw is arrested by the FBI for fraud and he’s condemned to house arrest in his penthouse. But later Josh learns that the employees´s pension fund which Shaw handles is gone.

When one of the employees tries to kill himself, Josh talks to Shaw and loses his temper, breaks the windscreen of the Ferrari, which is in the apartment , and loses his job.

The FBI thinks that Shaw has $20 million hidden. Josh with some other employees who also lost their jobs, they plan to get into Shaw's penthouse to get the money with the assistance of Slide, a thief who knows how to steal.

The team reaches Shaw's apartment, breaks down a false wall and finds Shaw's safe , Odessa opens it, but finds it is empty. Slide and another tenant fight for Slide's gun; the gun shoots a bullet and a bullet hits the car, revealing gold under the Ferrari's paint. They realize Shaw has invested his cash in gold

They move the car through  the window to the tenant’s apartment, six floors below, and then they take it down to the lobby on top of an elevator.

Just as they reach the lobby, FBI´s Agent and Shaw arrive and take the same elevator, with the car still on top of the roof. The FBI arrests Josh and his accomplices, that they will be free.

The team retrieves the car from its hiding place in Shaw's rooftop pool and sends various parts of the car to Tower employees to compensate them for their lost pensions.

As the movie ends, Shaw begins his life sentence and Josh is in jail, with a smile of satisfaction on his face.
