The person who inspired me to

do sport

While studying in elementary school we took part in different sport activities. At one of this activities a woman came up to us and offered us to attend sport school and start handball training.

After first training we were delighted! Handball appeared to be a very fast and dynamic game. This game requires not only physical but also tactical thinking. At sport school we met new friends and learned the rules of handball. Our new coach Rumyantseva Irina Anatolievna told us about her previous teams which had won prizes in various competitions and all girls from those teams are still good friends.

We also wanted to take part in competitions and see what we can do. In five years we have become a very good team and we love our coach very much.

We became the champions of Russia in 2011, champions of Europe in 2012 (in Italy), champions of Finland in 2010, as well as prize winners in Sweden in 2011, winners of the championship of Russia in 2012.

In 2013, we participated in the Spartakiade of children in handball and took 4th place among 146 teams.

We are very grateful to our coach. She taught us a lot, always supported and inspired us in our victories!
