carried to Perssephone to take charge of him for her.

But Persephone loved Adonis as well, and would not give Adonis back to Aphrodite.

Zeus decided that Adonis spent time with Persephone during autumn and winter while with Aphrodite during spring and summer.

The angry boar rushed at him gored him with its great tusks, the reason for his death.

His blood turned the grass green and bloom a beautiful flower, ADONIS.
