5. . FOREWORD Powerlifting is a modern sport. Unfortunately
there is still not enough scientific and methodological detail to
support an exact method in the training process. There are many
unresolved issues relating to technology and teaching methods in
this area. Training of athletes to improve individual skills
depends on many factors and conditions. The main role of the coach
is to provide safe and best practice, to advance athletic training
and performance. Developing a rational system of training is the
prime way to provide good coaching practice to athletes. Experience
tells us not every coach is able to teach an athlete perfect
technique. A goodcoach must have in-depth knowledge and experience
and the ability to adapt his/her training program to the needs and
ability of the athlete. The rise of powerlifting in Russia was
created through training knowledge of athletes. The Russiancoach
