Ron Parker & the Kansas City Chiefs● During March 2015, the Kansas City Chiefs signed and

re-signed several players, including fifth-year strong safety Ron Parker. League sources state that the new contract is for five years with a base salary of $25 million and room for as much as $5 million in performance incentives. Kansas City’s deal ranks as the highest granted to an undrafted safety in NFL history. Parker amassed a total of 94 tackles, a forced fumble, and an interception in 2014, his second season with the Chiefs. The Kansas City coaching staff expects that he will start in the secondary with free safety Husain Abdullah.
