Sir,Sub:- Conduct of Kottayam District Badminton (Shuttle) Championship 2014 -
Regarding.Ref:- Circular No.KBSA/Gen/14-15 dated 28/05/2012 of the Hon. Secretary,
Kerala Badminton (Shuttle) Association.
The Kottayam District Badminton (Shuttle) Championship 2014 for selectingthe Kottayam District team for the State championships will be conducted at theindoor courts of International Gym, Pala by two stages as given below.
1. Up to Under 17 from 4th to 6th of July 2014.2. Under 19 and above from 11th to 13th of July 2014.The matches will start from 9.00AM onwards. Events are organised in U-11,
U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 categories for Boys & Girls, Men, Masters, Veteran’s in singlesand doubles categories. The details of eligibility of categories are given below:-
Under 11 – Born on or after 01/01/2004, Under 13 – Born on or after 01/01/2002,Under 15 – Born on or after 01/01/2000, Under 17 – Born on or after 01/01/1998,Under 19 – Born on or after 01/01/1996, Master’s - Born on or before 01/01/1980,Veteran’s - Born on or before 01/01/1970.
A player cannot participate in more than two age categories. Each playershould pay Rs.100/- as player registration fee in addition of paying event entry feeRs.200/- for singles & Rs.400/- for doubles. The players who wish to participate in thechampionship should send their entries with age certificate and attached playerregistration form (in Triplicate with three stamp size photographs) on or before02/07/2014 to the Hon.Secretary, Kottayam District Badminton (Shuttle)Association,Supriya, Eastgate, Ettumanoor.P.O, PIN 686631 either by Regd.post or by email to theEmail address [email protected].
