Biographical Information

Sir Edmund Hillary was born on July 20, 1919 in Auckland. He died in Auckland on January 11, 2008. He went to University of Auckland and Auckland Grammar School for Math and Science. He explored for New Zealand. The years he explored were 1939, 1947-1953, 1958-1977. During that time he explored mountains.

Explorers from the history impact the modern day explorers by if a explorer from history dies and doesn’t finish the modern day explorer would finish what the explorer from history does.

First part of opinion

Sir Edmund Hillary finished what George Mallory did. George Mallory tried to go to the summit of Mt. Everest. Mallory died before he got to the summit. So Hillary tried and made it there and back to New Zealand.

Since the modern day explorers got farther than the explorers in history it creates more jobs and site seeing.
