Rei – Bow, Hajime – Start, Matte – Wait Osae Komi / Toketa – hold downs Dojo – place to practice the way Judogi – suit, zoris - sandals Judo invented in Japan by Jigoro Kano

Translates as ‘Big Outer Drop’ Partner performs Ushiro Ukemi (Back

breakfall)

De Ashi Barai

Translates as Stepping foot sweep Partner performs Yoko Ukemi (side breakfall)
