• In my opinion it is important to study English at school because English is a global language, it is used in songs, movies, websites, etc. It also gives you better job opportunities. Finally 80% of all international business exchanges are done in English. For those reasons I believe that learning English at school is essencial.

Copa no Brasil custa mais caro que as três últimas edições somadasVinícius Segalla* Em São Paulo• A conclusão vem de um estudo da Consultoria Legislativa do Senado Federal .No Brasil, afirma Guimarães, (o consultor do Senado) os gastos atuais, segundo as autoridades de governo e empreiteras envolvidas nas obras somam US$ 40 bilhões.
• "O problema é que o governo brasileiro resolveu reorganizar o país todo às custas da Copa. Nossa malha aeroviária e de aeroportos carece de reformas e ampliações há anos. Agora, porém, tudo será feito às pressas e com prazo definido para estar pronto, o que naturalmente vai encarecer todas as obras", explica Guimarães.
• Para o ministro dos Esportes, Orlando Silva, o estudo não merece crédito. "Este valor de US$ 40 bilhões é cabalístico, não há nenhum dado público que fale nessa quantia", afirmou. Além disso, para Silva, os investimentos em aeroportos e portos, bem como outros em infraestrutura, não deveriam ser contabilizados na conta da Copa: "A Copa do Mundo é um catalisador que antecipa investimentos que já teriam de acontecer. Quando a Copa passar, esses investimentos ficam. Portanto, é injusto que entre na conta da Copa"
