Surah at-Takwir (The Overthrowing)

�� ح�يم الر� ح�من� الر� الله� � م �س� ب

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


ت� (و'ر% ك م�س( الش� �ذ%ا إ

[81:1] When the sun is covered,


ت� %د%ر% انك 4ج(وم( الن �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:2] And when the stars darken,


ت� 'ر% ي س( %ال( ب �ج� ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:3] And when the mountains are made to pass away,


ع(ط'ل%ت� ار( �ع�ش% ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:4] And when the camels are left untended,


ت� ر% ح(ش� �و(ح(وش( ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:5] And when the wild animals are made to go forth,


ت� ج'ر% س( �ح%ار( �ب ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:6] And when the seas are set on fire,


و'ج%ت� ز( 4ف(وس( الن �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:7] And when souls are united,


�ل%ت� ئ س( �م%و�ؤ(ود%ة( ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:8] And when the female infant buried alive is asked


�ل%ت� ق(ت Kذ%نب ي'% �أ ب

[81:9] For what sin she was killed,


ت� ر% (ش� ن الص4ح(ف( �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:10] And when the books are spread,


(ش�ط%ت� ك م%اء الس� �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:11] And when the heaven has its covering removed,


ت� ع'ر% س( �ج%ح�يم( ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:12] And when the hell is kindled up,


�ف%ت� ل (ز� أ �ة( ن �ج% ال �ذ%ا و%إ

[81:13] And when the garden is brought nigh,


ت� %ح�ض%ر% أ م�ا Vس�ف% ن �م%ت� ع%ل

[81:14] Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared.


�س� �خ(ن �ال ب م( (ق�س� أ ف%ال%

[81:15] But nay! I swear by the stars,


�س� (ن �ك ال �ج%و%ار� ال

[81:16] That run their course (and) hide themselves,


ع%س% ع%س� �ذ%ا إ �ل� �ي و%الل

[81:17] And the night when it departs,


%ف�س% %ن ت �ذ%ا إ �ح� و%الص4ب

[81:18] And the morning when it brightens,


K %ر�يم ك Kس(ول ر% %ق%و�ل( ل �ه( �ن إ

[81:19] Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger,


Kم%ك�ين �ع%ر�ش� ال ذ�ي ع�ند% Kق(و�ة ذ�ي

[81:20] The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion,


Kم�ين% أ %م� ث Kم(ط%اع

[81:21] One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust.


Kون) ن �م%ج� ب (م (ك ب ص%اح� و%م%ا

[81:22] And your companion is not gone mad.


�ين� �م(ب ال (ف(ق� �األ� ب آه( ر% %ق%د� و%ل

[81:23] And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon.


Kين� �ض%ن ب �ب� �غ%ي ال ع%ل%ى ه(و% و%م%ا

[81:24] Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer.


K ج�يم ر% Kط%ان� ي ش% �ق%و�ل� ب ه(و% و%م%ا

[81:25] Nor is it the word of the cursed Shaitan,


(ون% %ذ�ه%ب ت �ن% ي% ف%أ

[81:26] Whither then will you go?


%م�ين% �ع%ال 'ل ل Vر� ذ�ك �ال� إ ه(و% �ن� إ

[81:27] It is naught but a reminder for the nations,


%ق�يم% ت %س� ي %ن أ (م� م�نك اء ش% �م%ن ل

[81:28] For him among you who pleases to go straight.


ب4 ر% �ه( الل اء %ش% ي %ن أ �ال� إ اؤ(ون% %ش% ت و%م%ا%م�ين% �ع%ال ال

[81:29] And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds.
