Many have stated that it is impossible to know whether or not we are living in the last daysbefore the second coming of Jesus Christ. However, below you will find dramatic proof that

these are the endtimes. The proofs below defy coincidence.

In Revelation 9:15-16, theBible prophesies that an army of 200 million soldiers will launch a war which would kill “the third part of men.” Never inthe history of the world until our present generation has there been a power on earth that could field 200 million soldiers.However, the late ruler of China, Mao Tse Tung boasted in his diary that he could field an army of 200 million. The CIAWorld Factbook reports that in the year 2001, it is estimated that China has 200,886,946 men of military age, and this num-ber is growing by 10 million per year.

In Revelation 13, the Bible prophesies that aworld dictator will soon rule over a world government. He will cause all people in the earth to receive a number withoutwhich they will be unable to buy or sell. We are seeing this prophecy fulfilled before our eyes in a most astonishing way.Nearly every human being in the world now has been assigned a number. In America it is our Social Security number. Inthe past few years, we have seen this number extended to newborns. A child without a Social Security number cannot bedeclared as a dependent on an income tax return. We have seen the emergence of electronic money, shopping with creditcards, and many people urging the abolishment of cash. All of these things could not possibly have been fulfilled until thispresent time. Only after the invention of the computer could such a worldwide numbering system be administered.

Revelation 13:7 andDaniel 7:23 prophesy the establishment of a world government. The term “New World Order” has become a prevalentphrase in the world’s political culture. Mikhail Gorbachev made the term famous, and Pope John Paul II has referred toit repeatedly. In the September 12, 1990 issue of the Chicago Tribune, our former president George Bush said, “Iraq isthe first test for the New World Order.” He emphatically stated that the Iraq War is Saddam Hussein against the world.The United Nations’ troops are continually referred to as the multi-national forces. The decision has been made to estab-lish an interdependent community of nations that will rule the world under United Nations authority. The Bible saysthat this will lead us into a great world government. The formation of this government is at hand.

Is it coincidental that all of these major prophecies pertaining to the last times are being fulfilled simultane-ously?

In Revelation 16:12, the Bible predicts that the EuphratesRiver will be dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east to invade Israel. This will happen at the time of the bat-tle of Armageddon according to verse 16 of the same chapter. The battle of Armageddon will be the final battle at whichtime Jesus will return and fight on the side of the nation of Israel. Immediately thereafter He will establish His kingdomand usher in His one thousand-year reign of peace. On January 13, 1990, the Indianapolis Star carried the headline “TurkeyWill Cut Off Flow of Euphrates for One Month.” The article stated that a huge reservoir had been built by Turkey. Whilefilling up the reservoir, the flow of the Euphrates would be stopped for one month and a concrete plug for a diversion chan-nel built. These things have now been done. With this newly built dam, Turkey has the ability to stop the Euphrates Riverat will. The conditions for fulfilling this 1,900 year-old prophecy are now in place.

WHAT IS ENDTIMEMAGAZINE?

In 1968, Irvin Baxter Jr. discovered theUnited States and other modern nations in theBible. He also found the Berlin Wall in the Bibleand that one day it was to be torn down,reuniting Germany, and that event would bethe catalyst to spark an international move-ment called the “New World Order.” Thesethings have now come to pass.

Irvin Baxter Jr., a Pentecostal minister,began Endtime Ministries in 1986 when hewrote A Message For The President, a bookexplaining the major prophecies of the Biblewhich he had been teaching since 1968.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, prophetic ful-fillment accelerated rapidly. The decision wasmade to launch Endtime. The purpose of themagazine is to explain the prophecies of theBible and to show that they are now being ful-filled in intricate detail.

Articles focus on the soon return of JesusChrist, the truth of the Bible, and the need forsalvation. Endtime does not deal with doctrinalcontroversies, as valid as they may be. This willbe left to other publications.

It was a record-setting funeral.Millions flocked to Rome. Somestood in line for over 24 hours just

to catch a 20-second look at PopeJohn Paul II lying in state. It was esti-mated that two billion worldwideviewed his funeral via television.

Not just Roman Catholics weredrawn to the second longest reigningpope in church history. Protestants,Jews, Muslims and Buddhists came topay homage to the man that manybelieve brought communism crashingdown to the ground.

During the news coverage, it washeard over and over again, “He was-n’t just a religious leader to Catholics.He was a leader for all of us.”

President Bush called him a man ofGod whom God sent to earth tooccupy the seat of St. Peter. By thetime the actual funeral arrived, itbecame easy to see how the papacycould exercise spiritual leadershipover all the earth, just as the Biblesays it will.

Where to from here?Those who understand Bible

prophecy know that we are witness-

ing the rebirth of the Holy RomanEmpire right now. On October 29,2004, the 25 members of theEuropean Union adopted the first-ever European Constitution. TheEuropean euro has surged past thedollar in strength and value.

Since the original birth of the HolyRoman Empire in 800 AD, two per-sonages have always ruled there—apolitical leader from Europe and areligious leader from Italy. Withoutfail, the pope has always supplied the“holy” element of the Holy RomanEmpire.

The Bible prophesies that this willhappen one more time. The finaltime, the political leader will be theAntichrist and the spiritual leader willbe the False Prophet.

Since all the prophetic signs indi-cate that we are very near the time ofthe Antichrist, we have to wonder ifthe pope elected to replace Pope JohnPaul II will be the False Prophet him-self. At this time, we can’t know forsure. But this one thing we do knowfor certain: Whoever is pope at thetime of the Antichrist, that man willbe the False Prophet!

Not tasting deathWhat did Jesus mean in Matthew

16:28 when He said, “Verily I sayunto you, There be some standinghere, which shall not taste of death,till they see the Son of man coming inhis kingdom”? —A. Mounsey

REPLY: There are two possibleexplanations to these words of Jesus.

The very next event recorded in theBible was the transfiguration of Jesus:

“And after six days Jesus takethPeter, James, and John his brother,and bringeth them up into an highmountain apart, And was transfig-ured before them: and his face didshine as the sun, and his raiment waswhite as the light. And, behold, thereappeared unto them Moses and Eliastalking with him.” (Matthew 17:1-3)

Peter, James and John seeing Jesustransfigured into the glory He willhave when He comes in the power ofHis kingdom may have been whatJesus referred to.

The other very plausible explana-tion is that this prophecy was fulfilledwhen John the Revelator received thebook of Revelation. In Revelation19:11-16, John saw Jesus coming inHis kingdom:

“And I saw heaven opened, andbehold a white horse; and he that satupon him was called Faithful andTrue, and in righteousness he dothjudge and make war. His eyes were asa flame of fire, and on his head weremany crowns; and he had a namewritten, that no man knew, but hehimself. And he was clothed with avesture dipped in blood: and his nameis called The Word of God. And thearmies which were in heaven fol-lowed him upon white horses,clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

And out of his mouth goeth a sharpsword, that with it he should smitethe nations: and he shall rule themwith a rod of iron: and he treadeth thewinepress of the fierceness and wrathof Almighty God. And he hath on hisvesture and on his thigh a name writ-ten, KING OF KINGS, ANDLORD OF LORDS.”

Not to mention bathroomsI was talking to a co-worker about

Revelation 9’s 200 million-men 6thTrumpet army. He asserted that itwould be impossible to feed and haveclean water for such a large army, andthat nuclear wars are not fought withlarge numbers of men. How can I getthrough on this sticky point?

REPLY: I don’t necessarily believeRevelation 9 indicates that there willbe a standing army of 200 million.This may just have been God’s way ofidentifying for us one of the promi-nent nations that will participate inthe prophesied war. Since China hasspecifically boasted that she couldfield an army of 200 million, it seemsalmost sure that she will be a princi-ple player in Revelation 9.

Bush duped ChristiansG.W. Bush and his crew effectively

duped all of us Christians into votingfor him because of his ability todecide who our next Supreme Courtjustices will be. Placing our faith inthe political system is simply a mis-take. My pastor advised us as a con-gregation not to vote at all. I wastempted not to and now more andmore it seems as though it was a

colossal mistake. I ask God’s forgive-ness. —Joe G.

REPLY: I too have been disappoint-ed in many things President Bush hasdone. However, I would remind youthat we are commanded to honor andpray for those in authority. When theApostle Paul appeared before ungod-ly kings and governors, he treatedthem with the utmost respect. Headdressed Festus as “most nobleFestus.”

I agree that it is a mistake to put ourfaith in the political system. I don’tthink it’s wrong to vote for the leaderthat would, in a person’s judgment,govern more closely than his oppo-nent to biblical principles.

Fighting the Real ID ActI am a Police Officer in Buffalo,

NY. I must have a driver’s license inorder to work. Congressman RonPaul talked about this on your pro-gram. I understand the implicationsand do not agree with this. I did emailmy Senators to vote against the RealID Act, but, if it gets passed what dowe do? I, for one, feel as though Ishould not “volunteer” for this, butthen I lose my job. I have no problemfighting against it and not taking it,but how many of us are going to dothis? —Ron W.

REPLY: I do not believe that a per-son who complies with these newrequirements for drivers’ licenses hastaken the mark of the beast. We aremerely pointing out these develop-ments so everyone can see how closeto the mark of the beast we really are.I would not recommend that you loseyour job over this issue at this time.

REPLY: In the Old Testament, Israelwas allowed to raise pigs, but theywere not allowed to eat them. Theycould sell them to the heathen. The

same principle could possibly applyhere, but I’m not sure I would feelcomfortable doing it.

Possible papal successor With the pope’s health deteriorat-

ing and the fulfillment of endtimeprophecies accelerating, I am curiousto see if you think that Jean-MarieLustiger may be the new pope.Lustiger was born of a Polish Jewishfamily in France, and is currently theArchbishop of Paris. It makes sensefor the Jewish people to be expectinga Jew, especially since they are wait-ing for Elijah to lead the way to theMessiah, although we know that rolewas fulfilled by John the Baptist.

St. Malachy’s prophecy: Only two popes remain

According to the prophecy of St.Malachy, an Irish bishop who died in1148 A.D., the cardinals of the worldmay be choosing the next-to-lastpope when they pick John Paul II’ssuccessor. The pope who then fol-lows will be the last. His reign will befollowed by Rome’s destruction.

St. Malachy left behind a propheticlist of all future popes beginning withPope Celestine II, whose papacybegan in 1143 A.D. Historians claimthat his prediction listing 112 popeshas been astonishingly accurate.

The last seven popes as identified inSt. Malachy’s list are as follows: PiusXII; John XXIII; Paul VI; John PaulI; John Paul II; the next pope and; thelast pope, described by Malachy as“Petrus Romanus” (Peter theRoman).

Malachy’s prophecy concerningPeter the Roman describes eventseerily similar to those in the Book ofRevelation: “In extreme persecution,the seat of the Holy Roman Churchwill be occupied by Peter the Roman,who will feed the sheep throughmany tribulations, at the term ofwhich the city of seven hills will bedestroyed, and the formidable Judgewill judge the people.”

It should be noted that some con-tend St. Malachy’s original prophecyonly foretold 111 popes. They say the112th pope, Peter the Roman, wasadded several hundred years later byan unknown person.

Annan: Pope was true pioneer in interfaith dialogue

Those who recognize the UN’s“religion” to be Interfaithism, the

belief that all religions are valid path-ways to God, were not taken abackby Kofi Annan’s statement issuedafter the pope’s death on April 2.

“Quite apart from his role as a spir-itual guide to more than a billionmen, women and children,” said theUN leader, “he was a tireless advo-cate of peace, a true pioneer in inter-faith dialogue and a strong force forcritical self-evaluation by the Churchitself.”

The Catholic Church has long beenan open supporter of global gover-nance through the United Nations.To this end, Annan remarked, “I wasalways struck by [the pope’s] com-mitment to having the UnitedNations become, as he said during hisaddress to the General Assembly in1995, ‘a moral center where all thenations of the world feel at home anddevelop a shared awareness of being,as it were, a family of nations.’”

The Secretary-General offered hiscondolences to Catholics, as well as“others around the world” who weretouched by John Paul’s life of prayerand lifelong dedication to nonvio-lence and peace.”

Passport chip criticism grows In light of U.S. State Department

plans to begin issuing new Americanpassports that contain remotely read-able chips, business travel groups,security experts and privacy advo-cates are looking for ways to stop theimplementation. It is feared that thechips will become homing devices forhigh-tech muggers, identity thievesand terrorists, ultimately turningAmerican tourists into targets wher-ever they go.

Officials say that critics are over-stating the risks and that the chipswill serve to diminish passport for-gery, improve security and speed upborder crossings. Technical featureswill be added to prevent the RFIDchips from being “skimmed” byunauthorized readers. In addition to aperson’s name, date of birth and digi-tized photo, at a later date the chipswill be able to include fingerprints oriris prints.

RFID to rule the world According to RFID News, there is

a definite interest in establishing trueglobal RFID standards. It will ensureinteroperability of all devices andaccommodate regional differences.

Microsoft plans RFID software in 2006

Microsoft has plans to release theRFID Services Platform early nextyear. A “middleware” product, itconnects RFID signal-monitoringhardware with business software thatis used to interpret the information.Microsoft has invested heavily inRFID technology and has made it akey part of its broader “SmarterRetail Initiative.” Plans have beenannounced to support the taggingtechnology in an embedded versionof Windows XP specifically aimed atretailers.

Jericho handed over to Palestinian control

Israeli and Palestinian securitycommanders signed an agreement inMarch handing over Jericho toPalestinian control. Ironically,Jericho was the first city given toIsrael as an inheritance by God. Thehandover was seen as a message toPalestinians that an informal trucewas starting to pay off.

U.S., China now at risk of heading into conflict

Just days before U.S. Secretary ofState Condoleezza Rice’s arrival inBeijing on March 18, Ukraine’sProsecutor General Piskun revealedthat Ukrainian arms dealers hadexported 12 strategic X-55 cruisemissiles to Iran and six to China in2001. By illegally obtaining the X-55,Iran and China have revealed theirtrue intentions: Iran’s goal is toobtain nuclear weapons, and China’sis to punch a hole in the defensive netprovided by the U.S. missile defensesystem. Although the U.S.-Chinarelationship still hasn’t reached thebreaking point, both sides are push-ing in that direction.

Flirting with Armageddon:welcome to a new arms race

The Observer out of Londonreported that a new nuclear arms raceis gripping the world, and manyexperts believe the likelihood of anuclear attack is greater now than itwas during the Cold War. The articlenoted that the new nuclear threatcomes from terrorist groups, not justrogue states. It appears that no one isabiding by the provisions of the 30-year-old Nuclear Non-ProliferationTreaty.

EU plan is ‘death of nations’ Miguel Angel Moratinos, Spain’s

foreign minister, said that Britain’sdays as an independent country will

soon be over. He said that it is onlya matter of time before individualEuropean nations are swallowed upby a new European superstate.Moratinos admitted that the EUConstitution would be a death war-rant for sovereignty of the 25 mem-ber states. He stated that they hadalready signed away power to runtheir own economy, legal systemand human rights rules, and that thenext steps would be to form aEurope-wide foreign policy andmerge the armed forces into a singleEU army.

Bush picks UN critic as UN ambassador

He is described as a blunt-spokenhawk with a history of skepticismtoward the United Nations. Thosequalifications were apparently whatPresident Bush was looking for in aUnited States ambassador to the UN.

Secretary of State CondoleezzaRice announced John Bolton’sappointment on March 7, saying,“The president and I have asked Johnto do this work because he knowshow to get things done. He is atough-minded diplomat, he has astrong record of success, and he has aproven track record of effective mul-tilateralism.” She credits Bolton withhelping to build an internationalcoalition to combat the spread ofweapons of mass destruction andhelping to convince Libya torenounce such weapons. He pressedthe case for war with Iraq, and hasbeen outspokenly critical of NorthKorea, Iran, Syria and Cuba.

Not pleased with the appointment,Democratic Senator John Kerryobserved, “If the president is seriousabout reaching out to the world, whywould he choose someone who hasexpressed such disdain for workingwith our allies?” Senate minorityleader, Harry Reid called the nomina-tion a “disappointing choice and onethat sends all the wrong signals.”

The Democrats do have a point. In1999, Bolton called for full diplomat-ic recognition of Taiwan and said thenotion that “China would actuallyrespond with force is a fantasy.”

In July 2003, as delicate six-party

talks including North Korea wereabout to start, Bolton called NorthKorean leader Kim Jong II a “tyranni-cal dictator” of a country where “life isa hellish nightmare.” Regarding Iran,he said, “All options are on the table.”

When asked about what seemed tobe mixed signals from the Bushadministration on North Korea in a2002 New York Times interview,Bolton grabbed a book from a shelfand laid it on the table. Its title: “TheEnd of North Korea.”

“That,” he told the interviewer, “isour policy.”

In 1994, Bolton was quoted as say-ing that “if the UN secretariat build-ing in New York lost 10 stories, itwouldn’t make a bit of difference.”

Annan to resign over Oil-for-Food scandal?

United Nations secretary-generalKofi Annan was said to be strugglingwith depression. Colleagues reportedconcerns about Annan ahead of theofficial report that would examine hisson’s connection to the controversialIraqi oil-for-food scheme. Annanmight have to choose between thesecretary-generalship and loyalty tohis son. However, after a critical newreport on the scandal-tainted pro-gram, Annan vowed not to resign.The UN chief, embattled by theongoing scandal, which cast a shadowover the United Nations, seized onthe enquiry’s finding that he had nothelped in getting a program contractfor the Swiss firm that employed hisson. When asked if he would stepdown, he replied with an emphatic“No.”

U.S. limits World Court jurisdiction

The United States withdrew from aVienna Convention protocol, whichgave the International Court ofJustice the right to intervene in thecases of foreigners held in U.S. jails.The move followed a decision by theWorld Court that 51 Mexicans ondeath row in U.S. jails should get anew hearing. President Bush decidedthat the United States would complywith the ruling and review the cases,but the withdrawal would mean theU.S. would not have to bow to theinternational court in such a caseagain.

The Bible prophesies that a re-born Holy Roman Empire willbe in power at the time of the

Second Coming of Jesus. The HolyRoman Empire first came into exis-tence in 800 AD when Pope Leo IIIplaced a crown on the head ofCharlemagne, pronouncing himemperor of the Holy Roman Empire.The empire, throughout its 1,200-year history, has always been a unionof politics and religion—thus thename “Holy-Roman”. Its leadershiphas always consisted of an alliancebetween a political leader and a reli-gious leader. The political leader hasalways come from Europe, and thereligious leader has always been thepope of the Roman Catholic Church.

It will be the same in the re-bornHoly Roman Empire. Ultimately, theman called the Antichrist (or thebeast) in the Bible will become theleader of the re-born empire.Whoever is pope at the time of theAntichrist—that man will be theFalse Prophet.

Rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire prophesied

Five powers were prophesied torule the world from the time ofNebuchadnezzar until the SecondComing of Jesus. These five empireswere depicted in a prophecy given toNebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, ina dream and interpreted by theprophet Daniel. (Daniel 2:31-45)

These world powers are depicted assections of an image of a man. A manis used for the prophecy because itportrays the human governments thatwill rule on earth until the establish-ment of the kingdom of God.

The head of gold in the image rep-resented the kingdom of Babylon,which ruled from 606 to 539 BC. Theprophecy plainly tells us that.

The arms and breasts of silver sym-bolized the Media-Persian Empirethat replaced the empire of Babylonand ruled from 539 to 331 BC.

After this, Alexander the Greatconquered Media-Persia, establishingthe world-dominating empire of

Greece. The Grecian Empire wasdepicted as the belly and thighs ofbrass and ruled from 331 to 197 BC.

The legs of iron in the prophecyrepresented the same Roman Empirethat ruled the world from 197 BC to284 AD. It was the Roman Empirethat ruled the world in the time ofChrist. That’s the reason that Romansoldiers were present at the crucifix-ion. These were occupying forces,enforcing the will of the Roman gov-ernment upon the people of Israel.The Roman Empire decayed fromwithin and ceased to exist around 300AD. Another global power did notemerge onto the world scene foralmost 500 years.

It should be noted that there was atotal change of metal each time theprophecy moved from one empire tothe next. This was true every timeexcept for the last. When the prophe-cy moved from the legs of iron to thefeet of iron mingled with clay, theRoman element (iron) was retained,but another factor was added—theclay. The feet and toes were of ironmingled with clay. The clay repre-sented the religious element that wasto be incorporated into the RomanEmpire making it the Holy RomanEmpire.

The Holy Roman Empire began onDecember 25, 800 AD, when PopeLeo III put the crown on the head ofCharlemagne, who was king of theFranks. The Holy Roman Empire hasexisted in Europe off and on sincethat time.

The prophecy states that a stone,which represents the kingdom ofGod, will smite the image on the feetof iron and clay. From this we knowthat the Holy Roman Empire will bereborn and in power when Jesusreturns to earth to establish His king-dom.

We are watching the prophesiedrebirth of the Holy Roman Empireright now. On October 29, 2004, thetwenty-five member nations of theEuropean Union signed the firstEuropean Constitution that has everexisted in the history of the world.

The EU flag illustrates the influ-ence of the Roman Catholic Churchin the present European Union. TheCatholic Church teaches that thewoman with twelve stars about herhead in Revelation 12:1, is the Virgin

Mary. Mary is depicted many times inCatholic iconography with thesetwelve stars about her. When ArseneHeitz designed the EU flag, he usedthe twelve stars of Mary on a bluebackground to illustrate the role ofthe church in the newly reunitedEurope. Europe’s flag bears thetwelve stars, as do its automobilelicense plates and the euro, its curren-cy. The prominent use of this symbolof Mary declares that the RomanCatholic Church is very much a part-ner in the European Union. The sameHoly Roman Empire that has risenand fallen many times over the last1,200 years is now reborn.

Is it time for the Antichrist andthe False Prophet?

There are several specific eventsthat are prophesied to occur rightbefore and during the reign of theAntichrist. It is obvious that most ofthese things are in process of comingto pass right now. Let’s consider a fewexamples.

Confirmation of the covenantThe scriptures teach that, seven

years before Armageddon and theSecond Coming, the Antichrist andthe world community will confirm acovenant with Israel. This covenantwill deal with the borders of the HolyLand, the status of Jerusalem andcontrol of the Temple Mount.

The world community presented apeace plan called the Roadmap forPeace to Israel and the Palestinians in2003. The Roadmap deals with theborders of the Holy Land, the statusof Jerusalem and control of theTemple Mount. If the Roadmap forPeace is not the confirmation of thecovenant, it certainly looks like it.

The Roadmap was stalled from2003 to 2005. However, with thedeath of Yasser Arafat, world leadersare saying that the Roadmap willsoon be back on track. It is very pos-sible that the final seven years couldbegin soon.

War originating from the Euphrates River

The prophecy of Revelation 9:13-16 simply says that a war willemanate from the area of theEuphrates River and will result in thekilling of one-third of mankind. Most

of the Euphrates is in the nation ofIraq, the land where, currently,150,000 U.S. troops are fighting. Isthis a coincidence, or does this havemeaning for us?

The prophecy also states that anarmy of 200 million will be involvedin this war that kills 2 billion humanbeings. Only one nation can present-ly put 200 million soldiers on the bat-tlefield. The CIA World Factbook of2003 says that China has over 200million men of military age. Not untilthe last five years could any nation inexistence make such a boast.

China recently passed an anti-secession law aimed at forcing Taiwanto unify with the mainland. The lawauthorizes the use of military forceagainst Taiwan if she does not reunifyvoluntarily. President Bush has saidthat the United States will do “what-ever it takes” to defend Taiwan ifChina does attack.

Only the military might of the U.S.

is sufficient to kill one-third ofmankind. The involvement of theUnited States in the coming warlooks inevitable.

Building the Third TempleAccording to 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

and Revelation 11:1-2, a temple willbe standing on the Temple Mount atleast three and one-half years beforethe Battle of Armageddon.

For quite some time, the TempleInstitute in Jerusalem has been recre-ating the furniture and the utensilsneeded for the resumption of wor-ship in the Temple. All of these arenow completed except for the Ark ofthe Covenant. Since Israel did nothave the Ark of the Covenant duringthe Second Temple era, Jews believethey can proceed with the rebuildingof the temple without it.

The Sanhedrin was reborn in Israelon October 13, 2004. The Sanhedrinis now studying to determine exactly

where the contemplated ThirdTemple should be built. If theRoadmap for Peace is implemented, itwill provide for the sharing of theTemple Mount between Muslim andJew. It appears that all the factors arenow aligning for the temple to berebuilt.

Mark of the beast—National IDOf all the prophecies, this is the

most dreaded. Revelation 13 simplysays that every person will berequired to receive a number or amark of some sort in order to partic-ipate in the world’s economy.

The prophecy is 2,000 years old,but it could only be fulfilled sincethe invention of the computer andthe advent of the Internet. The real-ization of this prophecy prior totoday has been technologicallyimpossible. However now it is alltoo possible!

At present, eighty-five percent ofall financial transactions done in theworld are performed electronically.Of course, a number is needed tomake this possible. A social securitynumber is required to hold a job,open a bank account or get a drivers’license.

The U.S. House of Representativesapproved a bill on February 10, 2005,called the Real ID Act. If passed bythe Senate, you will be required tohave an identity card containing yoursocial security number. Without thiscard, you will not be permitted toboard an airplane, a train, or enterFederal buildings. Your records willbe in a database connected to thedatabases of the other forty-ninestates. Once accomplished, the gov-ernment will be positioned to exer-cise total control over your move-ments and your activities.

How far are we from the imple-menting of the mark of the beast? Weare closer than we want to believe!

As we can see, all the propheciespertaining to the endtime are comingto pass right now. Are we near thereign of the Antichrist? Certainly.Does this indicate that the newlyelected pope is the False Prophet?We can’t yet say that for sure. Wecan say that it is a very real possibil-ity! And it won’t be long before weknow!

It’s not often you’re able to sitdown and have a one-hour conversa-tion with a man who has been incharge of reforming the UnitedNations. According to some, the UNis the singular structure designed torule the world. Although many of usobject to the United Nations runningthe world, the truth is that it is specif-ically designed to be a world govern-mental system. A further truth is thatthose who want a UN-led worldgovernment will vehemently denythat such is their intention. That isbecause they know what kind of vio-lent knee-jerk reaction it would gen-erate.

Maurice Strong sits at the elbow ofSecretary-General Kofi Annan as hisUnder-Secretary-General for UNReform. He has served for a long timeat the highest levels of power. Here isthe second part of a three-part series— Endtime’s interview with Dr.Strong.

…on IraqIrvin: Some people think the war

with Iraq has weakened the UnitedNations. Do you agree?

Maurice: There’s no question thatit generated immense pressures onthe United Nations and, of course,creates tendencies towards weakness.On the other hand, it also demon-strated the strengths of the UnitedNations, the importance of it, the factthat it was not possible to avoid theUnited Nations in dealing with thecrisis of this kind. The UnitedNations has no magic of its own. It isactually the forum through which itsmembers, which are over 190 nations,can consult and deal with issues thatthey cannot deal with alone.Therefore, it reflects the hopes andaspirations, but also the weaknessesof our modern world.

Irvin: Do you think PresidentBush regrets not getting the approval

of the UN before going into Iraq?

Maurice: I don’t think regret is theappropriate word. I’ve heard himrespond to that question. He makes itclear that he did, in fact, go to theUnited Nations. He wasn’t alwayssatisfied with the results, and he didbelieve that when he launched thewar in Iraq he was doing so in accor-dance with a United Nations resolu-tion. There are others who do notaccept that interpretation, but I thinkit’s important that he makes thatclaim and that others do conformwith it. It’s a question of interpreta-tion. I think the important thing isthat he did, in fact, go to the UnitedNations and he does insist that theaction he took in launching that warwas in accord with the UnitedNations Security Council resolution.

Irvin: Dr. Strong, you are a veryastute observer of international rela-tions. Where is the crisis in Iraq head-ed? Is the UN going to end up play-ing a major role there? How is thatgoing to turn out?

Maurice: The problems of Iraq arenot going to go away easily. It is anancient civilization, a country thatwas put together artificially yearsago, primarily by the British whenthey controlled the situation there.Some of the problems they encoun-tered then continue into the presentday and are now being faced by theUnited States and the world commu-nity. Obviously, if those problems aregoing to be resolved, primarily, theyhave to be resolved by the Iraqis.Everybody accepts that fact, but it isnot going to be an easy road. It was-n’t expected to be an easy road. It isnot easy to create instant democracyin a country that has not been accus-tomed to democracy. It’s not just a

voting system. It is a culture, a systemof values that expresses itself in thepolitical arena. And we’re a long wayfrom that. There’s been a commend-able start, but it’s only a start.

…on Bush & the International Criminal Court

Irvin: One of the big developmentson the world scene over the last fewyears has been the birth of theInternational Criminal Court.President Bush withdrew the signa-ture of the U.S. from that treaty. TheUnited Nations continued to contendthat once the necessary 60 nationsratified it that the treaty still hadpower. I have two questions: Howdid they pick the number 60 whenthere are 190 nations in the world?And how did they arbitrarily decidethat 60 nations can bring this to thelevel of international law?

Maurice: It may sound arbitrary, butit was the decision made by the mem-bership of the United Nations whenthey decided to act to create thisaccord. However, it is quite clear that itcannot enforce jurisdiction on membercountries, like the United States, that

have not accepted the treaty. It is bind-ing on those accepting it.

Irvin: I know President Bush wasvery concerned that it would beenforced, even though we were notone of the signers. He demanded andwas granted a waiver from the UnitedNations. If there is no danger of [theICC] being forced upon us, eventhough we did not sign it, why was heso concerned about a waiver?

Maurice: I can’t put myself inPresident Bush’s place, but when Isaid that it couldn’t be readilyenforced, that does not mean thatthere’s not a legitimate concern on thepart of President Bush and theUnited States about its application toU.S. citizens. Of course there wasthat concern, and that is the reasonthat, if I understand it, they soughtthe waiver. It is one of the weakness-es and difficulties of the fact that westill do not have a fully enforceableregime of international law that canenforce measures against countriesthat have not signed on to a particularUN treaty or convention. That is aproblem. We do not have, on a globalbasis, that kind of enforceable legal

regime. That is still very much in itsinfancy. It is inconceivable that wewill have such a regime without theparticipation of the United States.

Irvin: President Bush chose not toask for that waiver this year when thetime came around for its renewal. Doyou have any idea what broughtabout that change in policy?

Maurice: No, I can only speculate.I think the United States has been sat-isfied, at least up to this point, thatthere is no intention on anyone’s partto use that particular convention todisadvantage or embarrass the UnitedStates. Those who have arguedagainst giving a waiver did so becausethey felt that the U.S. concerns werealready well satisfied by the existingconvention and its provisions. Itdoesn’t mean the problem has goneaway but it does mean that the prob-lem is seen as a little less acute at thispoint.

Irvin: I read one article in whichthe author claimed that, when theU.S. didn’t ask for the waiver to berenewed, the United Nations passedthe resolution recognizing the U.S.-

installed government in Iraq. Hespeculated that perhaps an exchangewas made. A deal. Is that possible?

Maurice: Well, anything’s possible,but I cannot speak with authority onanything to which I have not been adirect party. I simply don’t know. Ithink that’s really speculative.

…on Iran’s nukesEddie: You are involved with the

North Korean nuclear situation.There’s another one brewing rightnow with Iran that’s also pretty seri-ous. Iran’s logic is, Israel has nukes.Why can’t we? If you’re going to dosomething about us, do somethingabout Israel.

Maurice: That is the logic that theyput forward. They also put forwardthe argument that under the NuclearNonproliferation Treaty the nuclearpowers agree not to threaten the non-nuclear powers. Israel has notbecome a party to the NuclearNonproliferation Treaty. Iran con-tends that that doesn’t mean Israelshould be entirely exempted from thewill of the nations of the world toprevent the dissemination of nuclearweapons, and that Israel has them inthe region in which Iran is located.

Also Iran makes the claim (and I’mnot taking their position) that theyare fully entitled to develop a peace-ful nuclear program, which, they say,is exactly what they are doing. Ofcourse, that has not been accepted bythe United States or other membersof the International Community. It isstill an unresolved issue. But theNorth Koreans contend that theyhave been threatened by the world’smajor nuclear power. The U.S. con-tends that is not the case, but theNorth Koreans read some of thethings that have been said by the U.S.administration as certainly constitut-ing a threat. They say that they arewilling to disband their nuclearweapons program, but only whenthey can get suitable alternative guar-antees for their security. In the mean-time, nuclear weapons capability isthe only way in which a small nationlike North Korea can feel like theyhave a credible defense against threatsfrom a world’s major nuclear power.There are always two sides to an

argument. You don’t have to be anadvocate for that regime to at least tryto understand the basis for their con-cerns and their claims.

Irvin: You have been at the pinna-cles of power at the United Nationsfor a long time. Have you ever seen atime when we were perhaps as closeto nuclear war as we are right now?

Maurice: Yes, I think we weremuch closer to nuclear war duringthe so-called Cold War days. Therewere moments when the Cold Warcould have become a hot war, theCuban Missile Crisis being a primaryexample. Remember that a nuclearwar involving the major nuclear pow-ers during the Cold War periodwould have been a very different war,far more massively destructive than anuclear war today involving the useof one or two nuclear weapons by asmall and weak state.

…on Gorbachev & the Earth Charter

Irvin: Mikhail Gorbachev and youplayed a large role in the EarthCharter. What is the present status ofthe charter? Has it been adopted byanyone, and will it eventually beadopted by the United Nations?

Maurice: The Earth Charter wasreally designed to be a people’s char-ter, an expression by people through-out the world of their commitment tocertain basic moral and ethical princi-ples to guide the conduct of peopleand nations toward the earth andtoward each other. It was neverdesigned as a formal internationaltreaty. It derives its authority fromthe millions of people and thousandsof organizations that have accepted it.It has received significant blessingsfrom the various members of theUnited Nations. Some have evenadopted it more formally at thenational level, but it was not designedas an international agreement. Atsome point it may receive a more for-mal endorsement from the UnitedNations, but that is not its purpose.

Irvin: It’s an expression of valuesthat the presenters of this documentbelieve the world should embrace forthe good of the world.

Maurice: That’s right. But thedrafting of it involved literally tens ofthousands of people around theworld. It was not just a little group ofpeople in the back room. It derives itsauthority from the extensive processthat produced it, and from the con-tinuing process of those who embraceand adhere to it.

…on religion & peaceIrvin: You were one of the speak-

ers, if I remember right, at theMillennium Peace Summit.

Maurice: You mean the one involv-ing spiritual leaders?

Irvin: Yes. I think there were abouta thousand spiritual leaders whocame to New York right before theMillennium Summit of the politicalleaders. Tell us a little bit about thepurpose of that meeting and whatwas accomplished there.

Maurice: It was to recognize thatreligion is a powerful force in theworld. In fact, the religious beliefs ofpeople underlie their motivations,which in turn determine their behav-ior and conduct. Therefore religionsare and should be an importantsource of influence in what peoplecall the soft power in the world. Ofcourse, even religions themselveshave differences. How to deal withthose differences is a major factor inworld peace. When they don’t acttogether, they can give rise to conflictas we have seen in many instances.Religion and peace are interdepend-ent. The meeting at the UnitedNations simply was designed to rec-ognize that and to try and create thecondition in which the religious lead-ers of the world—beyond the formalreligions—even some of the spiritualleaders who do not claim to have aspecific denomination—come togeth-er to make a commitment to peacefulresolutions of their own differencesand peaceful resolution of the differ-ences that threaten the security of theworld.

Eddie: Many religions are diametri-cally opposed in so many ways. Arethere any common principles thatyou are trying to find in order toavoid more religious wars?

Maurice: Yes, I think there are.Conflicts are deeply rooted whenthey involve one religion giving upprinciples that they believe are essen-tial to their belief system. That is dif-ficult and hasn’t very often provenfeasible. But to transcend those dif-ferences, recognizing that it is in theinterest of all, in the nuclear age par-ticularly, to find a peaceful way ofsettling such differences is the com-mon ground. Peace is not just a loftyaspiration. It is a necessity for thesurvival and well being ofhumankind, people of all religiouspersuasions. That overriding necessi-ty for peace is what drives the searchfor unity and achieving it.

Irvin: Are there any ongoingefforts that grew out of that meet-ing?

Maurice: Yes, there are meetingsin various places all over the world. Ijust attended a very interesting onein Hiroshima, Japan where the firstnuclear bomb was dropped. Thiswas a youth meeting with a very bigparticipation of religious and spiri-tual groups. This is a continuing andnecessary effort. I can’t imagineachieving the permanent conditionof peace in a world in which reli-gions remain divided in any hostilesense. Yet, one cannot envision aworld in which all beliefs arereduced to a homogenous commondenominator. You don’t have to giveup your fundamental beliefs. Youhave to simply transcend them to tryand achieve a common commitmentof peace with others whose beliefsyou do not share, but agree torespect and tolerate.

…on life after KofiIrvin: Kofi Annan’s term expires in

2006. Who’s in line to become thenext Secretary-General of the UN?

Maurice: There are many aspirants,many candidates, few of them veryvisible at this stage, who would liketo succeed Kofi Annan. He’ll be ahard act to follow. He’s been, in myview, the best Secretary General ever.It’s a tough job, one of the toughest inthe world with immense responsibili-ties and influence and very little realpower.

Russia might hold the key tobringing peace and securityto the Korean Peninsula.

And Maurice Strong is a major partof that equation.

As North Korea continues toface severe energy shortages, Mr.Strong – the Personal Envoy ofUnited Nations Secretary-GeneralKofi Annan to the KoreanPeninsula – is hoping to successful-ly broker a massive natural gaspipeline project which promises tochannel vital energy supplies intothe Korean economy. Workingwith the United Nations, Russia,China, the U.S., the EuropeanUnion, Japan and the governmentsof North and South Korea, Strongis tasked with the job of negotiatinga comprehensive regional settle-ment.

It’s a daunting task. The ongoingtensions over the Korean Peninsulaare rooted in complex issues, andpeace proposals are inevitably frag-ile. However, using the persuasivepower of petroleum, Strong andother governmental actors are bid-ding to use Russia’s natural gas as aleveraging tool in strengthening theinternational community’s positionthroughout the entire northeastAsian zone.

Speaking to the CarnegieEndowment for InternationalPeace, Mr. Strong remarked, “Thesituation on the Korean Peninsulais probably the most complicatedand dangerous one in the world. Atthe same time, all the ingredientsrequired for its peaceful resolutionseems to be in place. What is need-ed is the will to put them together.”

For several weeks the world’sattention was riveted on thedying of an old pope and the

beginning of a new one. John Paul IIhad the largest funeral to ever takeplace on earth. Then came theextraordinarily short conclave. In lessthan 24 hours, the Cardinals choseJoseph Ratzinger of Germany as thenew pope.

For 455 consecutive years, thepopes of the Roman Church camefrom the nation of Italy. Then in1978, Pope John Paul II from Polandwas chosen. Now another non-Italian, Joseph Ratzinger ofGermany, has been chosen to fill theoffice of the papacy. For his papalreign, he chose the name of BenedictXVI.

Is he the False Prophet?Scripture is crystal clear that whoev-

er is pope at the time of the Antichristwill fill the role of the False Prophet.All factors indicate that we are verynear the time of the Antichrist now.Consequently, we simply have to askthe question: Could Joseph Ratzinger,now Pope Benedict XVI, be the FalseProphet himself?

Reasons he could beEcumenism and Interfaithism

During the time of the Antichristand the False Prophet, a world reli-gion will be implemented andenforced. In his first speech as pope,Benedict XVI said that his "primarytask" would be to work to reunify allChristians and that sentiment alonewas not enough. "Concrete acts thatenter souls and move consciences areneeded," he declared. He alsopledged to reach out to other reli-gions.

From 1986-92, Cardinal Ratzingerserved as president of the Commissionfor the Preparation of the Catechismof the Catholic Church. In 1992, hepresented the new catechism to PopeJohn Paul II. It was the first new cate-chism in 400 years.

In the section dealing with relationswith the Muslims, it states: The planof salvation includes those who,together with us, worship the oneGod of Abraham, in the first placeamongst whom are the Muslims.(Item 841)

These things Benedict XVI has saidand done seem to indicate that he istotally comfortable with ecumenismand Interfaithism.

Revival of the Holy Roman EmpireThe kingdom of the Antichrist will

be a revival of the Holy RomanEmpire. Germany has been the heartof the Holy Roman Empire since itwas born in 800 AD. The first emper-or was Charlemagne, the king of theFranks—as in Frankfurt, Germany.Ratzinger has emphasized the impor-tance of restoring the CatholicChurch to the prominence that it hashistorically enjoyed. As the firstGerman pope in almost 1,000 years,he may be the perfect person to pro-duce such a European reawakening tothe Catholic faith.

His choice of the name Benedictmay show his special feeling towardEurope since St. Benedict is thepatron saint of Europe.

The Great TribulationThe Bible prophesies that the three

and one-half year reign of theAntichrist and the False Prophet willbe the time of the great tribulation.

Those who refuse to pledge allegianceto the world government and theworld religion will become the targetof terrible persecution. For overtwenty years, Cardinal JosephRatzinger has presided over theCongregation of the Doctrine of theFaith formerly known as the Officeof the Inquisition. This is the officethat carried out torture and evendeath during the Inquistion of themiddle ages. Ratzinger has been sofamous for his ferocious defense ofCatholic doctrine that he has been“God’s Rottweiller” in news reportsaround the world. Would he be capa-ble of presiding over the comingevents of Revelation 13:15-18? I don’tknow. But I do know how I feelabout Rottweillers!

Mother church and her daughtersBenedict XVI has insisted that

other Christian churches not becalled "sister churches," but "daugh-ter churches" (TIME religion writerDavid Van Biema from Time.com4/19/05). He contends that theRoman Catholic Church is the“Mother” of other Christian church-es. This is an amazing affirmation ofthe prophecies in Revelation 17:5about the Roman Church: “Andupon her forehead was a name writ-ten, MYSTERY, BABYLON THEGREAT, THE MOTHER OF HAR-LOTS AND ABOMINATIONSOF THE EARTH.

Why he isprobably not

AgeIn spite of all the obvious reasons

why Benedict XVI could qualify forthe role of the False Prophet, there isone over-riding factor why he proba-bly will not be the religious leader ofthe Antichrist era.

We know there is a seven-year peri-od ahead that will be begun by the

Antichrist’s confirming of a covenant.It seems certain that this seven-yearperiod has not yet begun. PopeBenedict XVI is 78 years of age. It isnot likely that he will live longenough or have the vigor to play therole prophesied for the False Prophetduring the final seven years leading toArmageddon.

The brother of Pope Benedict XVIGeorg Ratzinger, 81, said he was"very concerned" and "shocked"upon hearing that Cardinal Ratzingerhad been elected as head of theRoman Catholic Church because ofhis age and frail health.

"I am very concerned. I would havethought his advanced age and hishealth, which is not very stable,would have been reason enough forthe cardinals to pick someone else,"his brother said in an interview onGerman television.

One leading reason Ratzinger waselected was his age. It was a strongconsensus that the cardinals wouldelect an older pope, not wanting twovery long papacies in a row. Some say,at his age, he will simply be a caretak-er pope.

However, Greg Erlandson of OurSunday Visitor, the largest Catholicnewspaper in the USA, disagrees. Hewrote, “You don’t pick someone withthis kind of serious intellectual fire-power and ask them to be a caretakerof someone else’s legacy.” The lasttime the Roman Catholic Churchpicked a “caretaker pope”, theyreceived a shock. Pope John XXIIIwas elected at the same age asRatzinger. He turned the churchupside down by calling VaticanCouncil II, setting in motion reformsthat the church is still attempting tocome to grips with.

So could Pope Benedict XVI actually be the False Prophet?

Because of his age, it seems unlike-ly that the new pope will be the FalseProphet. However, some individualshave been able to retain their vitalityfar into their 80’s. Since the finalseven years could begin at any timenow, we cannot say that a FalseProphet Benedict is a total impossi-bility. We can say, however, that if heis not the False Prophet, he is perfect-ly suited to prepare the way for theone that is to come. e

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharonsaid that, of all the decisions hehas made in his life, the final deci-

sion to withdraw from settlementswhose founding he himself hadencouraged was the most difficult.That’s quite a statement from a manthat, as a general in the Israeli Army,was called upon to make decisions onthe battlefield that sent many soldiersto their deaths.

Sharon did not take this decisionhastily. He carefully analyzed Israel’schoices and decided that unilateraldisengagement was the best course ofaction available.

Let’s take a moment to review thepossible choices that Sharon had toconsider: 1. Israel could hold on to allthe land captured in the 1967 War,

continuing to rule over 1.5 millionPalestinians. 2. Israel could put itstrust in the Roadmap for Peace, hop-ing this peace plan would succeedwhere Oslo failed. 3. She could actunilaterally, withdrawing to bordersthat could eventually become the per-manent boundaries between Israeland a Palestinian state.

Master strategist Sharon under-stood that Israel could not rule over1.6 million Palestinians indefinitely.The incessant terrorist attacks andsuicide bombings would eventuallywear down the resolve of even theIsraelis. Furthermore, pressure fromthe international community wouldultimately become so great that itwould become irresistible. Option 1was out.

The Roadmap for Peace was reallynothing more than a repeat of theOslo Accords that ended in such dis-aster. Sharon believed that, to thePalestinians, the peace process wassimply a tactic to be exploited untilstrength could be built for the nextattempt to annihilate the nation ofIsrael completely. Sharon alsounderstood that the deep vein ofhatred for Israel that had runthrough the Palestinian bloodstreamfor the last 3,000 years would notsuddenly melt away, making peacewith Israel possible. Therefore heinsisted that Step 1 of the Roadmaprequire Palestinians to stop all terror,disarm the terrorists, dismantle theterrorist entities and stop all incite-ment of hatred against Israel. He

stated very clearly that Israel wouldnot enact Step 2 of the Roadmapuntil the Palestinians had imple-mented Step 1. Sharon’s sixty yearsof experience in the Middle East toldhim that the Roadmap was a non-starter. In his mind, Option 2 wasdead on arrival.

Unwilling to continue absorbingsuicide bombing after suicide bomb-ing, and unconvinced that theRoadmap would ever be successful,Prime Minister Sharon concludedthat Israel had to take the initiative.He shrewdly calculated the maxi-mum that Israel could lay claim towithout drawing the wrath of theInternational Community and, moreimportantly, without losing the sup-port of the United States. He verycarefully crafted his plan for unilater-al disengagement. Disengagementalone would not bring peace to Israel.There had to be separation of the twopeoples. Only a wall could stop thecontinual terrorist attacks that madelife in Israel unbearable.

Sharon wisely consulted with theUnited States concerning the route ofthe security wall and fence. By pre-approving the path of the fence withthe U.S., he insured Israel ofAmerica’s continuing support in spiteof condemnation by the World Courtand large segments of the internation-al community. In exchange for thedisengagement, Sharon receivedacknowledgement from PresidentBush that the United States wouldnot expect Israel to return Palestinianrefugees into Israel proper and thatmajor Israeli population centers thatstood on disputed territories wouldnot have to be returned to Palestiniancontrol.

The last obstacle that the disen-gagement plan had to overcome wasthe religious element in Israel, whichbelieved that withdrawing from areasof the biblical promise land was a vio-lation of the Torah itself. Opponentsof disengagement attempted to forcea nation-wide referendum on Sharon.Then they tried desperately to topplehis government. The foxy prime min-ister fought back and outmaneuveredhis opposition every time. Barring anact of God, the settlements fromGaza will be moved, by force if nec-essary, by July 20 of this year.

The critical question remains: Will

Sharon’s disen-gagement planbring peace toIsrael?

Short term?Possibly yes. Weknow from theBible that theTemple Mountwill soon beshared betweenMuslims and Jews(Revelation 11:1-2). We also knowthat Israel’s tem-ple will be builtthere. Thesethings may cometo pass either as aresult of imple-menting theRoadmap or byunilateral Israeliaction.

Since its meeting on 28th Shvat5765, the Sanhedrin has deliber-ated the initiative of the Prime

Minister of Israel, the decisions of thegovernment, and legislation enactedby the Knesset regarding the planknown as “The Disengagement,”henceforth referred to in this docu-ment as “the uprooting.”

This plan involves the uprooting ofJewish communities in the Gaza stripand northern Samaria, the forcedexpulsion of Jews from their homes,and the willful transfer of these landsto a foreign power.

Following an intensive study,which took place regarding thehalachic (authentic Jewish law) ques-tions that arise from the government’sdecision, the Sanhedrin hereby bringsits conclusions and decisions to thepublic’s attention.

1) The Prime Minister’s programof uprooting stands in directcontradiction to the Torah ofIsrael.

2) The decision to implement theuprooting will cause largenumbers of Jews to transgress

many of the Torah’s command-ments.

3) The Government of Israel andthe Knesset, in their presentform and power structure, donot constitute institutions thathave any authority according tohalacha to render decisions thatcontradict the Torah of Israel.

4) Government ministers who havedeemed this plan of uprooting tobe wrongful have been removedfrom their positions, and like-wise senior officials of the secu-rity establishment who haveexpressed independent opinionsabout the matter have been oust-ed.

5) THEREFORE, the decision ofthis government – which hasalso violated its promises to itsown electorate – is null andvoid.

6) THUS: No Jew is permitted tocooperate with the program ofuprooting, in any way whatso-ever.

7) Any Jew – including a soldier orpoliceman – who supports theuprooting, whether directly orindirectly, whether by voting inits favor, or by giving council,or by supplying vehicles ormaterials, and obviously, any-one who actively participates inthe uprooting…by so doing,transgresses a large number ofTorah commandments.

8) The uprooting of the residentsof the Gaza Strip and Samaria isa crime, and an injustice to theresidents, and places manyother communities – in fact, allcitizens of the State of Israel – inmortal danger.

9) Any Jew who participates in, orcooperates with this plan,whether actively, or even bymerely remaining silent, trans-gresses the commandment “Youshall not stand idly by yourneighbor’s blood (Lev. 19:17),”and in the future will be judgedby G-d for this sin.

11) By this declaration, theSanhedrin, as the link of conti-nuity of the Torah received byMoses at Sinai, hereby expressesthe stance of Israel’s Torah. Forif, Heaven forbid, the presentgovernment carries out this, orsome other, program of uproot-ing – this action has no validity.The Land of Israel is holy land,and all of its regions belongexclusively to the nation ofIsrael, forever.

12) The Sanhedrin, as the represen-tative of the Jewish peoplethroughout history, herebyaffirms that the Jewish people

— regardless of this or that gov-ernment — does not relinquish,and is not entitled to relinquish,so much as the span of a solitaryman’s foot of the Land of Israelaccording to its biblical bound-aries…for it is G-d’s land.

13) The commandment to “inheritand dwell” (Deuteronomy12:29) in the Land of Israel isobligatory upon every Israeligovernment. In this regardIsrael is commanded by G-d toconquer the entire expanse ofthe Land of Israel within itsbiblical boundaries, includingthe Gaza strip.

14) THEREFORE: Even if(Heaven forbid) the residentsare forcibly removed fromtheir homes—when the gov-ernment changes, and a gov-ernment in Israel arises thatconducts itself according to the

Torah, the armies of Israel willreturn and re-conquer thisstrip of land, to reinstate thepeople of Israel to their rightfulplace. This applies not only tothis area, but also to all theexpanses of the Land of Israelthat were stolen and arepresently in foreign hands.

What are theodds that someonewould ask a ques-tion I had not heard57 times already?After all, I sit next toIrvin Baxter Jr. for anhour each and everyweekday as the co-host of the only live,one-hour, nationally-syndicated talk showin the world about Bible prophecy.It’s been seven years of caller aftercaller after caller. There is nothingnew under the sun, and certainly Ihad heard it all – until, of course, Ifound myself in front of a live churchaudience without that trusty safetynet I call Bro. Baxter.

It was nine days before the election.

We were visiting my wife’s familywhen a pastor-friend asked me on aSunday morning if I would teach aprophecy lesson and then field somequestions on Sunday night. Q&A?Sure. I should be able to handle that.As shallow as my depth of knowl-edge is, I owned the probabilitycharts.

Yet there I stood, naked, figurative-ly speaking. The mark—Bush orKerry? To make matters even morecomplicated, I knew that I wouldhave to answer in such a way as to notendorse either candidate, for thatwould put the church’s non-profitstatus in jeopardy. So much for free-dom of speech. A church can’t advise

its congregants concerning whomthey may want to consider votingfor? As Yakov Smirnoff would say,“What a country!”

The obstacles mounted as itdawned on me that I was staring at a99% Bush-or bust congregation.Which candidate will bring on themark of the beast quicker? Better notbe Bush. Let’s see… which one ofthese guys glaring at me writes thechecks? Is that him? The one with hisleft eyebrow raised up to the middleof his forehead?

Spotlight’s on, absolute undividedattention, a few dozen nanosecondsto consider a few dozen possibilities,sort through them, choose one, andspeak it into existence. Will I be wel-comed back to my wife’s hometown?Do I want to be?

You see, the world isn’t all thatcomplicated. Everything can bedivided into two separate and distinctcamps. Bush good, Kerry bad.Republicans support the Bible,Democrats support the devil. You getthe drift. The world is black andwhite—to some, at least. And thatprobably includes the people setbefore me.

It is a comfort to know that wehave a Republican-controlled Houseof Representatives, Republican-con-trolled Senate and Republican-con-trolled White House. God wins thisround, fellas. And you want to knowwho will drive this great nation ofours into the mark of the beast quick-er? The lady who asked the questionalready knew the answer; she justwanted everyone else to hear it. Iknew that. Everyone knew that.Clearly this is a no-brainer. Kerry.Democrats bad. Democrats supportthe devil, remember? Kerry’s the badguy. Surely Kerry will bring the markto my doorstep.

So, should I? Or shouldn’t I? Theanswer came to me. It was an evil,controversy-stirring answer, becauseit wasn’t what they expected norwhat they wanted; but I instinctivelyknew that truth was truth, howeverunfortunate that can be at times. Thiswas such a time.

I wouldn’t be endorsing one candi-date over another because I wasn’tasked to. The questioner was seeking

a “professional” issue-based opinion.For better or worse I, at that auspi-cious moment in time, was the stand-in professional. The only remainingquestion in my mind was… should I?

Operating on the you-only-live-once principle, I decided to go withtruth.

“Imagine if you will,” I began,“President Kerry submits a NationalID Card bill to the Congress. Get anumber and you get to live. Youknow where it’s heading—it’s themark of the beast. You’d expect sucha thing from those evil Democrats,and here it is. No surprises. Butyou’re braced for it; you’re ready forit. So you scream to the high heavens.You and your friends. All Christianseverywhere. Petitions. Noise. Lots ofnoise. You may defeat it or you maynot – but you’ll die trying.”

With that groundwork establishedI stepped around to the back door forthe kill. “Two weeks ago, yourRepublican House and yourRepublican Senate passed a bill thatyour Republican president signed,which will force all states to establishstandardized drivers licenses. Thispaves the way for a National ID Cardbill, and you can bet your bottomdollar that a National ID Card isn’ttoo far behind. And—it all happenedwith no opposition, because your

man is in the White House. So… it’snot a question of who I think willdrive us into the jaws of the markfaster. It’s already happening, andyou’ve been silenced.”

That was six months ago, and Iknow that 99% of this congregationvoted a straight Republican ticket. Itwas as my pastor’s wife remarked,tongue in cheek, before the year 2000presidential elections, “Yes, I knowthat Bush will lead us into world gov-ernment just like Gore, but I’ll feel awhole lot better about it with Bush.”

It’s a paradox of the worst kind. Hestands for so much I agree with. Forinstance, my president will never betapped to be the UN’s poster child.He thumbed his nose at theInternational Criminal Court andKyoto environmental treaty. Hisrecent appointment of outspokenUN-critic John Bolton as the U.S.ambassador to the United Nationsunderscored his commitment to pre-serving American sovereignty.

Yet, for all that good, my presidentis not beneath doing some rathergoofy things, like taking the unbibli-cal stand that Muslims worship thesame God as Christians, or usheringin a system that will almost certainlybecome the mark of the beast.

point such things out, lest we receiveletters such as Fred’s: “Last week,you stated on your radio program,‘President Bush or whoever is inoffice in January...’. You doubted thatPresident Bush would be re-elected?I really wonder about you.”

On the flip side, we are constantlyreminded of ol’ Skull & Bones Bush,that his grandfather had some Naziconnection, and all of these anti-UNmoves are really a “clever deception.”

Half of our listeners and readersthink we are ignorant Bush-bashers,half think we are caught in the haze ofhis hypnotic trance.

Speaking of paradoxes, take theissue of China. I see our presidentstand with Taiwan because it’s theright stand. Taiwan, a democracy, isour friend. Besides, Taiwan cannot bereunited with China because Mao’scommunists never conqueredTaiwan. United, yes. Reunited, no. Ithas been said that you never gowrong by doing what is right, andstanding with Taiwan is right. Ofcourse, America’s stand is what mighttrigger the 6th Trumpet war resultingin two billion deaths. Definitely somemixed feelings there.

Who is like President Bush, youmay wonder? Who is able to makewar with him? He blows throughAfghanistan and takes down Iraq. Hehas just sent three aircraft carriers towithin spitting distance of ourfriends, the Iranians. And be assured,he will straighten out North Korea’serrant nuclear policies. So while bask-ing in the glory of it all, for my pres-ident is a good and just president, hisactions seem somewhat reminiscentof Revelation 13:4, which reads,“Who is like unto the beast? who isable to make war with him?” Moremixed feelings. Am I really on God’sside here?

Last October, the Congress pavedthe way for ‘federalized’ drivers’licenses. Today we are living throughthe final stages of an unbridled maddash to a National ID Card. At presstime the (deceptively named) Real IDAct has been passed by the Houseand is in committee in the Senate. It isa virtual certainty that whatever theCongress brings to the Oval Officewill be signed into law.

Life in America, as a result of theReal ID Act, will force everyone

(“And he causeth all, both small andgreat, rich and poor, free and bond”)to agree to take a number (“to receivea mark in their right hand, or in theirforeheads”), without which you willultimately not be able to have a bankaccount, hold a job, own property, orworse yet, visit a national park (“Andthat no man might buy or sell, save hethat had the mark, or the name of thebeast, or the number of his name” —Revelation 13:16-17).

No, the almost-inevitable NationalID Card is not the mark of the beast.The real mark will be accompaniedwith an oath that will, in some way,get you to deny that Jesus is yourexclusive pathway to heaven.

But can a National ID be thwartedif it’s prophesied to happen? Maybe.Because Daniel 11:31-45 shows thatthe Antichrist will fight at least fourwars in the years immediately priorto the Battle of Armageddon. Will theUnited States be one of those resist-ing nations, perhaps even the lastone? At least four countries will fillthese roles. One of them may as wellbe us, and I would just as soon do mypart to push that possibility along.

Just prior to World War II, therewas a desperate rush to helpEuropean Jewry immigrate toPalestine before Hitler’s deathmachine could finish its job. It was

during this time Great Britainreleased their infamous White Paper,which severely limited Jewish immi-gration to Palestine, thus sealing thefate of many. The paradox was thatBritain fought against Germany inthe war and was thereby a valuableally to the Jewish people. David Ben-Gurion, who headed the JewishAgency during that time, called onJews “to fight the White Paper asthough there were no war and to fightthe war as though there were noWhite Paper.”

The American Civil LibertiesUnion is against the National ID, so Ilike the ACLU. But this is the organ-ization that is getting the TenCommandments removed from ourcourthouse lawns. I therefore detestthe ACLU. So when it comes toremoving the Ten Commandments, Iwill fight the ACLU as though therewas no National ID. And I will sup-port the ACLU on their stand forprivacy as though there were no TenCommandments (with limits).

So, if you love your Christian pres-ident, then fight the Real ID Act asthough there were no Christian pres-ident. Hate him? Then support hisanti-UN stand as though there wereno “satanic” president.

Simply stated, focus on the issues,not the man.

fulfillment since the crucifixion.Confirmation of the Covenant…......The Bible prophesies thatthe International Community will confirm a covenant with Israel concerning the statusof the Holy Land and the status of Jerusalem. When this covenant is confirmed it willmark the beginning of the final seven years to Armageddon. The Roadmap for Peaceis an international covenant concerning the status of the Holy Land and the status ofJerusalem. This international peace plan has been presented to Israel and thePalestinians and has been accepted by both.

It appears that all the pieces to the Middle East puzzle may well converge in 2005!

RFID and the Mark of the Beast………As of December 31,2004, Wal-Mart is requiring all its vendors to have RFID tagging on all pallets thatcome across its loading docks. This is the first huge step in the plan for every itemmanufactured on earth to be embedded with an RFID chip less than the size of agrain of sand. The embedded RFID chip is projected to replace the bar codes that arepresently found on almost all items. When RFID technology is fully implemented, itwill allow the tracking of everything, everywhere. In 2004, an RFID chip implantedunder the skin was used for cashless financial transactions for the first time.

This new technology is getting way too close to the biblical Mark of the Beast!!

Death from the Euphrates………Revelation 9:13-16 clearlyprophesies that a war will begin in the area of the Euphrates River that will kill one-third of mankind. Most of the Euphrates River is in the nation of Iraq. The U.S. has150,000 troops in Iraq at this present time. North Korea claims to have several nuclearweapons. Iran seems determined to acquire nuclear capability. The War on Terror isspreading, not reaching a conclusion.

We could very well be in the beginning of this war prophesied to kill 2 billion human beings.

We must Reach 2 Billion as Fast as Possible.……Thequestion is not: “Will one-third of mankind die?” Or “Will the confirmation of thecovenant happen?” Or “Will there really be a mark of the beast?” The only questionis: “When?” Can we sit by, allowing 2 billion of our fellowmen to enter eternity with-out a chance to be saved? We must reach these 2 billion people with the gospel ofJesus Christ as quickly as possible! How much time do we have? We don’t know forsure. It could be 1 year. It could be 3 or 4. But we know we don’t have long.
