Using Transitions

Transitions have 2 jobs

• To connect one idea to another idea

• To tell HOW one idea is connected to another idea

There are 4 types of transitions

• Transitions that add information

• Transitions that say the opposite

• Transitions that show cause and effect

• Transitions that show order in time

• Give an example
