Forgive me, Lord, for the way I often take you and your blessings for granted. It’s not that I don’t appreciate your blessings. I do! It’s just that I so often forget to take the time to tell you. And in doing so, our relationship isn’t as close as it could be.

Lord, I confess that you’re not the only one I take for granted. I can just as easily take for granted;

-my family-my friends-my church family-my school-mates-my work colleagues

Forgive me for not caring enough to say “thanks”.

Lord, help me to live a grateful life where giving thanks and showing appreciation in tangible ways is just a natural part of who I am and what I do.Help me to be especially thankful for this place called “Prince of Peace”.Amen.
