Practice Dates & Times

Middle School

Middle Schoolers who actively participate will receivetheir five required FaithBuilder Credits.

Middle Schoolers are the main focus; many roles areavailable such as narrators or main characters

On the form, middle schoolers can select their topthree choices for roles.

Roles include: Joseph, Mary, the Angel Gabriel, theThree Kings, the Innkeeper and Innkeeper’s Wife,Shepherds, and four Narrators.

Second to Fifth Grade

Older elementary schoolers will be featured as animalssuch as sheep (to be watched by middle schoolshepherds) or other animals (horses, cows, dogs, etc.)that will live in the stable.

Costumes include a long-sleeved plain shirt/turtleneck(white for sheep, black, brown or gray for otheranimals), long black pants or pants that match yourshirt, no tennis shoes, and anything else that can turnyour child into a farm animal! Use your imagination!

Preschool to First GradeYounger elementary schoolers will be featured as

angels and school children.

They will sit on the edges of the pews next to a parentthroughout the performance and stand in the aislesduring their two featured parts as angels and schoolchildren.

They will be required to sing “Hark, the Herald AngelsSing,” “The Alphabet Song,” “Twinkle, Twinkle, LittleStar” and “Happy Birthday.”

They will wear a long-sleeved plain white shirt, blackpants, no tennis shoes, and an angel halo made out of“star garland.”

Finally...Participating in the Living Nativity is a fun experiencethat enables children to enjoy themselves whileenriching their faith and making new friends.

I sincerely hope that your child will be able toparticipate in the Living Nativity!
