Proverbs 2 1 My son, if thou wilt receive My

Words, and hide My Commandments with thee;

It’s not a question of ( if you can).

“If you will.”

Receive = accept and use.

Not just hear with the ear --

Hear and live by

Willingly!

2 So that thou incline (hearken; give heed) thine ear

unto Wisdom, and apply thine heart to Under-

standing;

Live life God’s Way without reservations.

To apply understanding is to

DO the Word of God.

Make every effort to know Wisdom.

Apply Understanding to your life.

This is not passive.

3 Yea, if thou criest after Knowledge, and liftest up

thy voice for Understanding; 4 If thou seekest her

as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

We must really want God’s Best!

“I love God’s Way of Living Best of All.”

We can’t listen reluctantly: :

We can’t obey resentfully.

Eagerly seek the Wisdom

of God’s Word.

Willingly Obey.

Every Word.

He ain’t eager to hear

the Word of God.

Attentive minds

5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,

and find the knowledge of God.

When we search diligently for the Knowledge and

Understanding of God’s Word and Will,

Then we will find and understand the Way to

live our lives and be blessed.

And we will be blessed with

all good things.

6 For the LORD giveth Wisdom: out of His Mouth

cometh knowledge and understanding.

The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.

7 He (The Lord) layeth up Sound Wisdom for the

righteous: He is a buckler (protector) to them that

walk uprightly. 8 He keepeth the paths of judgment,

and preserveth the way of His saints.

Live life God’s Way:

The Way of Blessing.
