Proverbs 18:14a The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity;

It may be said of a man, “He has a strong spirit.”

That includes courage and perseverance, as well as the ability to maintain peace and joy.

That kind of spirit will sustain a man or woman through sickness and trouble.

14b but a wounded spirit who can bear?

A wounded spirit leaves one desolate.Times of sickness or

trouble bring them down to the point of despair.

The human spirit can endure a sick body, but who can bear a crushed spirit?

A wounded spirit can be healed when that one looks up to The Most High God for strength.

Joshua 1 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Luke 12 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? 7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

God loves you!Always and in all times and circumstances.

Philippians 4:4-7 (TLB) Always be full of joy in the Lord; I say it again, rejoice! Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do. Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.

15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

Knowledge is desirable.

We need to be learning every day.

16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

In this world that is sometimes the only way

to gain access.
