Chapter 1

•2-4: When we face trials from the enemy or the world it is building up our faith in Christ especially when we turn to Him.

•12: When we endure through trials and hardships we will one day receive the crown of life.

•19: This is a major challenge for many Christians; and I am do different in that I want to be quick to speak and give into anger. I will admit at this: I am much better then a few months ago. So clearly I am growing.

Chapter 3

•14: Do not harbor bitter envy or selfish ambition in your heart. This seems like a struggle for me in my walk so far; but at the same time I am growing. The fact that I would offer $200 to Mary’s mom; no strings attached shows that I am maturing in my faith.
