WHEN DID GOD DECIDE TO SEND JESUS

Eph 1:4-6: For He [Father] chose us in Him [Father] before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His [Father] sight.

In love, He [Father]predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His [Father’s] pleasure and will—to the praise of His [Father’s) glorious grace, which He [Father]has freely given us in the One [Jesus] He [Father] loves.

IF THAT IS TRUE, THEN...

God knew He would have to wait 10-20K years before sending Jesus while the humans persistently defied Him

God had to be very motivated to adopt us as His children if He created us knowing that we would break His heart with rebellion for thousands of years.

God valued us so much, it was worth it to Him.

His plans for us in heaven are so important that He was willing to do all that to make sure He got us home.

WHY THE INCARNATION?

Why would the Creator become a creature to save creatures?

Wasn’t there another way to bring the New Covenant?

What does it say about God and us that would require God to become flesh and blood?

God’s love is greater than we could ever imagine

Our bondage to sin blinded us so strongly
