Introduction• Scriptures in a myriad of religion have always practiced

goodness in terms of morality, leadership and managing yourself in the most difficult situations of life.

• It is saddening to notice how these lessons are put to use in the most advert form. Sacred writings of “Hinduism” are religious worshipped as words of doctrine. Yet the question that is put forward is, if these epics are followed for their righteousness.

Introduction• Braingroom is a platform that helps to revive the lost

values of our ancient times, our epics, morals, traditions and cultures.

• According to Professor Klaus K. Klostermaier, Indian epics are a collection of stories which are filled with wisdom and thought.

• One of the most important things to note that as Indian mythologies with its vedas and upanishads grow with time, so did these epics

• we are living in a civilization that may or may not have been following these words of wisdom to the T!

Most ignored moralities and values Braingroom lists moralities and values that has been over the time, deliberately or conveniently ignored by people

• Spirit of Women - Women throughout Indian epics have been looked upon as a possession or perhaps an additive that sticks by the side of her husband. However, the truth is that, these epics were never intended to subdue women! In fact, an epic like Ramayana speaks of Sita’s purity and her strength by withstanding the hard facets of the forest life!

• Life is Grey - Mahabharata, the great war of Indian Mythology was nothing but “Karma”. It taught us that life is grey and by being kind and generous is not going to help you live a better life! Life is a combination of emotions and we must be ready to face things out of the blue that come out as challenges!

Most ignored moralities and values • Decision Making - The epic battles of Mahabharata also taught us the

importance of decision making. Every consequence that we face in our life is culminated from our decisions. Hence, it’s of utmost importance that you must always decide with a clear mind!

• Hard-work Takes Time To Bear Fruit, But It Surely Does - Bhagavath Gita, our epic scripture teaches mankind that hard-work is more imperative than the result. It advises on how our mind should steer clear from the result and void of expectations. Our duty, if sincere, will definitely bear fruit!

•  Progress & Development -  With time, things take a turnover too! The holy book of hinduism, “Bhagavath Gita” clearly states this. Things change with respect to circumstances and with change comes progress and development to life!

Most ignored moralities and values • Money isn’t Ultimate - Money can definitely make a man content but

never happy. True happiness lies in the hearts deepest and strongest desires. To attain a peaceful state of mind one must not encumber his thoughts to the fickle desires of life.

• Indian epics, since time immemorial have given us innumerable lessons on morals, leadership and entrepreneurial skills. In fact, these epics teach us the value of righteousness for a better mankind. Over the years, with proliferating technology scriptures have taken a backseat with the current generation failing to realize the importance of practicing these ethics! Yet, marketplaces like Braingroom, which focuses on bridging gaps between seekers and trainers, create an effort to encompass spiritual classes for the needful. Engaging in such classes are remunerative to the mind and soul & help in better well-being!
