1.4 million are Emirati citizens

Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaiman, Sharjah, & Umm
al-Quwain
Each Emirate is governed by an Absolute Monarch. One of the monarchs is the President of the U.A.E.

The U.A.E. maintained diplomatic relations
with the Taliban until 9/1/1

Flogging is legal for offences such as
adultery, premarital sex, &
alcohol consumption.
Stoning is legal. Ex pats have been sentenced to
