  • 1. Jesus rejected Mary as mother apologized publicly fornot giving anyone to worship (Matthew 12:46-50) /Jesus taught us that the earthly family is not importantIn Matthew we see that Mary wants to talk to while he was preaching Jesus and thedisciples warn Jesus that his mother has arrived and you want to talk. What does Jesus do? He tells people:"My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God and do it."Basically the message is not the natural family that counts, but is the spiritual family, thefamily of faith that is now considered your true family. Many believe they have to put her family above all else natural. Thats what the people ofthe world who does not know God, his family is everything to them, to the extent thatthey may even become your idols, for not losing the love of the family are unable to standfirm in ways of the Lord.Jesus warned us that when a man turns he would have much conflict in the family. Thismay surprise many, but its true. Look at what Jesus says in this passage. Its called Jesus, source of divisionMatthew 10:34-39"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace but a sword. For I have come to set man at variance against his father, a daughter against her motherand the daughter against her mother, and a mans foes shall be they of his house. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of me who loves son ordaughter more than Me is not worthy of me: and he that taketh not his cross and followme is not worthy me. "This Jesus is saying that he is the most important in our lives, and if family members donot want to stand and submit to him, we stand with Jesus, we no matter what it cost us,even if it costs us family. Many of us have had to deal with this. But what did Jesus say about it?"He that taketh not his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of me."Taking his cross does not mean what the church has taught idolater, or when we havesome suffering that is taking the cross.Take the cross, as Jesus, is just this: Be willing to suffer damage and loss as he suffered, and this is what happens when a person becomes and no longer wants to continue living

2. as before. The family is usually the first to give problems and criticize. Be ashamed ofyourself because society is anti-Christian and full of antichrists. What will you do? Will you stand firm in the faith or you give them for fear?Remember that Christ took ALL save. He left his kingdom, he became poor, sufferedinsults, whipping, and contempt. His disciples and to his parents abandoned him at thosetimes cruel, in that fateful day when they crucified their enemies. So anyone who wants to follow Jesus must count the cost, since he requires us to followin his steps.Holy Bible vs. Reina Valera
