You are a SAINT
This maybe a case where we need to first UNLEARN in order to learn.
Sainthood:1) Live holy (strike 1)2) Perform a miracle (strike 2)3) Be dead (strike 3)
Saint was Paul’s FAVORITE designation for Christians.
If you are in Christ, you are a saint by POSITION
You are a saint not because of what you have done or will do, but because of who you are IN CHRIST.
This is what the WORD of God says about you in Christ.
Despite whatever you have told yourself, as a saint you are PRECIOUS in God’s sight.
You are not only a saint in position, but you are called to learn and grow as a saint in PRACTICE.
“A saint does sin. But a Christian is one who has saint as their constant identity and SINNER as their occasional activity” (Mark Driscoll)
“A saint is someone whose life makes it easier to BELIEVE in God” (William Barclay) for God’s work is revealed in us.
