• We have opportunities for student leaders to be involved in the communication and recording of the youth assembly. This involves roles in managing Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and website communication, blogging articles, interviewing power players and capturing the event.

• Please let us know names of students you would like to develop through these opportunities. We have 20-25 roles available.

• Young leaders from our Event Leadership Team will be holding a press conference before the start of the event from 12.15 – 12.45pm.

• This will be a great opportunity for student journalists to take part in the event and then communicate their experience of it back to school

• 1-2 Students can take on this role per school/college/youth group. Please confirm your places with us.

• Every member of the audience will get a learning pack on the day to use before, during and/or after the assembly.

• This will contain lots of learning activities as well as the Assembly Agenda and list of participants, differentiated into Key stage 2/3 and 4/5

• There will be prizes for some activities... to be collected on stage during the Assembly

• Key Stage 4 and 5 young leaders from across London have been leading the planning and organisation of the event.

• The leadership team is divided into sub-teams, including speakers, showcases & politics, creative talent, marketing & digital media.

• The team meet every two weeks in Central London on Wednesday evenings, 6-7.30pm. Dates are 09/06, 23/06 and 07/07.

• Contact your London Citizens organiser if you want 1-3 students to be involved.
