ه8 ر وغ& [al-Araaf 7:59] Indeed, We sent Nuh (Noah) to his people and he said: “O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him.”
5
[al-Araaf 7:65] And to 'Ad (people, We sent) their brother Hud. He said: “O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him.”
6
[al-Araaf 7:73] And to Thamud (people, We sent) their brother Salih (Saleh). He said: “O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him.”
7
[al-Araaf 7:85] And to (the people of) Madyan, (We sent) their brother Shu'aib. He said: “O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Ilah (God) but Him.”
8
[al-Ankaboot 29:16] And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said to his people: “Worship Allah (Alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know.”
9
[al-Maeda 5:72] But the Messiah Isa (Jesus) said: “O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.” Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode.
10
[al-Anaam 6:19] Say (O Muhammad SAW): “But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him.”
11
[az-Zumar 39:65] “And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad SAW), as it was to those before you (Adam to Muhammad s.a.w): "If you join others in worship with Allah, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers.”
12

[Luqman 31:13] Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong, evil) indeed.
13
Acceptance ofDeeds
14
[Al-Furqan 25:23] “And We shall turn to whatever deeds they did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust.”
15
[Al-Kahf 18:103-104] Say: "Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!”
16
Conditions for
Acceptable Deeds• Emaan• Ikhlas
(sincerity of intentions)• According to
the Shariah
17
[Aal-e-Imran 3:85] “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers”
18
Emaan
[al-Baqarah 2:217] “And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever”
19
Emaan
The first people to be dragged on their faces & thrown into hell will be:
(a) A man who died as a martyr.
(b) A religious scholar
(c) An extremely generous person
[Sahih Muslim: Narrated by Abu Hurairah r.a.]
Ikhlas
20
[An-Nisa 4:115] "And whosoever does not contend with the Messenger after guidance has been made clear to him, and follows a way other than the way of the believers, We shall leave in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell, what an evil destination!”
21
Shariah
Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: “Whoever does any action that is not in accordance with this matter of ours (i.e. Islam), will have it rejected.”

Judge by the Qur’an
[Surah al-Maida 5]– (44) “And whosoever does not judge by what Allah
has revealed, such are the Kafirun.– (45) And whosoever does not judge by that which
Allâh has revealed, such are the Zalimun.– (47) And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has
revealed (then) such (people) are the Fasiqun.– (49) “And so judge among them by what Allah has
revealed and follow not their vain desires
25
Qur’an
[Al-Hashr 59:7] “And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and whatever he forbids you, leave it.
And fear Allah: truly Allah is severe in punishment.”
Sunnah
26
[Al-Ahzab 33:36] “It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger to have any option about their decision…”
[An-Nisa 4:80] “Whoever obeysthe Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah…”
Sunnah
27
The Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said:
“The best of the people are my generation, then those after them, then those after them...”
[Bukhari / Muslim / Abu Dawood / Tirmidhi / An-Nasai]
28
First 3 generations
[At-Taubah 9:100] “And the foremost to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun and the Ansar and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.”

TheSaved Sect
30
“Indeed, the people of the Book before you split-up into seventy-two sects. And this nation will split-up into seventy-three sects, seventy two are in the Fire and one is in Paradise.” In another narration: “All of them are in the Fire except one.” It was asked: Who is that one? He replied: “That which I and my Companions are upon.”
[Hasan: Related by Abu Dawud (no.4597), Ahmad (4/102), at-Tirmidhi (5/62) and al-Hakim (1/128) and others. It was authenticated by al-Hafidh al-’Iraqi in Takhrijul-Ihya (3/199) and al-Albaani in as-Saheehah (no.204).]
31
Ibn Masud said: Allah’s Messenger
وسلم عليه الله drew a line for us and then ( (صلىsaid: “This is Allah’s Path.” Then he drew lines to its right and its left, and said: “These are differing paths, upon each of them there is a shaytaan (devil) calling to it.” Then he recited: “And verily this is My Path, so follow it, and do not follow other paths for they will separate you away from His Path.” (al-Anaam 6:153)
[Sahih: Related by Ahmad (1/435) and also al-Hakim (2/318) who authenticated it and adh-Dhahabi agreed.]
32
“I am leaving amongst you two things, you will never go astray as long as you cling to them: the Book of Allah and my Sunnah. They will not separate from each other, until you meet me at the Lake.”[Sahih: Related by al-Hakim from Abu Hurayrah. It was authenticated by al-Albaani in Takhrijul-Mishkat (no.186)]
Ibn Abbas said: “I fear that stones will descend upon you from the sky, that I say to you that the Messenger of Allah said; and you say to me that Abu Bakr and Umar say something else!”
[Hasan: Related by Ahmad (no.3121), al-Khatib in al-Faqih wal-Muttafaqqih (1/145) and Ibn ’Abdul-Barr in Jami’ Bayanul-’Ilm (2/196), from Sa’id ibn Jubayr.]
33
Unity of theMuslim Ummah
34
[Aal-e-Imran 3:103] “And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Qur’an), and be not divided among yourselves.”
[al-Anfaal 8:46] “And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength departs, and be patient. Surely, Allah is with those who are As-Sabirun (the patient)”
35
[an-Noor 24:55] Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, which He has chosen for them. And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

37
[al-Qalam 68:8-9] So obey you not the deniers. They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you.
