Aarakshan – The Reservation policy of India The new Hindi film of Mr. Prakash Jha with Mr. Amitabh Bacchan is Aarakshan. It is a very good news that the film is based on “Reservation policy”. I am really not aware of the outcome. The topic is very sensitive and I still remember the shooting of students by V.P.Singh’s government in 1988 or so. If you have seen it or have heard about, please try to see or get details about it. I posted this letter earlier but could not on your blog, hence writing again. Aarakshan – The Reservation policy of India

The new Hindi film of Mr. Prakash Jha with Mr. Amitabh Bacchan is Aarakshan. It is a very good news that the film is based on “Reservation policy”. I am really not aware of the outcome. The topic is very sensitive and I still remember the shooting of students by V.P.Singh’s government in 1988 or so.If you have seen it or have heard about, please try to see or get details about it.I posted this letter earlier but could not on your blog, hence writing again.

This letter was send to Prime Minister, Mr. M.M.Singh, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Late Shri Arjun Singh – then minister for human resources, and many others.

ALAS! No one read. I sincerely hope that you and the director read it.

On a serious note: Please reconsider your stand on Reservation:

3000 thousand years ago, when the Pandavs were in exile, and thirsty. They found a pond, where one by one, all Pandavs became unconscious – by the Yaksh, the owner of the pond.

The famous story of Yaksha questioners. The First question Yaskh asked to king Yudhisthir,” who is a Brahman”?Yudhisthir replied,” A man is a Brahman by KARM and not by BIRTH”.

Emperor Chadragupta Morya came from a ST. His descendent “Ashok the Great” is on every seal of Indian government. The most respected Maharani Ahilya bai Holkar ( whole Holkar clan, Sindhiya ( shinde), Giakwad and Bhosle ( to best of my knowledge) were from lower castes. Kabir, Raidas, Rahim, Soordas, Jaysi, Gyandev, Narsing Mohta and many more were not from higher castes. What was the cast of Sai Baba, Mata Anandmai, Sadhu Vaswani, and many spiritual leaders, no one knows. Christ protecting a prostitute, Bhagwan Ram eating KUBARI ke BER, The Kewat hugging Lord Ram, The lord krishna eating rice with Sudama, are symbolic examples of no caste barrier.

Caste has got nothing to do with the progress. It is the opportunity availed by, and at an opportune time, by a hard working homosepian ( of any caste, colour, creed, race, religion, nation or any other variable which keeps on dividing us) to succeed in life, and enrolled his name in the list of hall of fame.

I can’t imagine a day when there will be one common universal language, one common currency, no LOC anywhere on the mother earth. The Faith (religion) will be an individual choice, and not by birth. No public display of power of GOD in the form of rituals. Demolish of all temples of all religions. Rituals & customs should be strictly personal. There should be Food, clothing, electricity, water & shelters for all. This “blue planet turns into haven”. Life will be shear enjoyment, exploration, discovery, and a delight to live long.

As long as we identify ourselves in these compartments - the discrimination will never stop. There will always be a House of Lords and House of Commons, a gentle man and a commoner, a rich and a poor, a Brahmin and a Shudra, Protestants and Catholics, Siyas and Sunnies, Jews and Buddhist, Sun worshiper, Moon worshiper and Stars worshiper.

Is there is any possibility of getting rid of these five fundamental evils:The War industry,The Religion industry,The insurance industry,The medical industry,The power political industry.

All these evils are based on one common philosophy; Fear psychosis & Hope selling. The biggest killer/murderer of Homosepians was Homosepians in the name of Patriotism. Fight for your mother land ( which could be as small as an inch of a land or as big as whole Africa, Asia, Latin America and all black, non English, uncivilized land of people.

The most wonderful industry is religion industry. All those acts which are supposed to be a sin on the earth will be provided to you in the heaven - what a

wonderful idea.Understanding the inner self leads to a scientific quest to understand god - the method is (channel of thoughts) called religion. Is there is any possibility that religion of whole world become one, like all scientific subjects are same everywhere, be it physics, chemistry, biology, or any scientific quest? How Gods differ from place to place, person to person? How god of one becomes stronger than the God of others? And if it so then, let Gods themselves decide who is the strongest and then order us to follow him to the path of salvation. Why one kill another in the name of same god.

The hope selling and fear psychosis: is a wonderful commercialization of human nature. The medical industry creates patients by fear psychosis and then gives hope of treatment. The irony of the situation is that, a person once diagnosed as a patient, is a patient for rest of his life. Be it a cervical spondylosis, or lumbar disk syndrome in a 20 years old girl. She is labeled as a patient for rest of her life. By public awareness program, we create more patients to treat, so that there is an unending supply of Costumers. You are borne as a patient and you will die as a patient. You are not allowed to take birth without your mother taking drugs. God will refuse to accept you in haven if you have not received any medication before death.

Might is always right, whether it is muscle, money, or knowledge. Power and powerless, born as a ruler or born to be ruled, where is the equality. This word equality is very elusive. There can never be equality. This is law of nature which can’t be changed. This inequality is the incentive to move forward. It is Law of survival of fittest. It is the purification of genetic coding through natural selection. Where is the reservation for powerless in the nature?

Even if a brightest human takes over the control of League of Nations, power politics will always be there (everything is fair in love and war). I can’t imagine a world without discrepancies.Opportunity can be created, but it has to be availed by the person to succeed. That’s the reason the jobs created are not filled. Why more and more, year after year, repeating the same mistake. It is against the law of nature. People selected

through Quota system will always be considered as incompetent, inferior, and a man without a sense of self respect. He will always be isolated and suffer in the eyes of commons. This will be an injustice to a hard working person, who genuinely reached a height by his skill and hard labor. It’s a psychological trauma. His demand is not money, he just want a status of equal rights like everyone else. Rest he will manage with his capability. God has given equal brain to all.

Reservation in higher education is like providing top class food to a bilateral above elbow amputee. My request is to first provide him artificial arms, he will find out food of his own taste.Law of “survival of fittest” works all the time in the nature. Let it work and we should not play the God-player’s role.

I hope a brighter, healthier and happier future for all.

With hope for a better tomorrow,

Vinod Naneria
