What All Are You Tryingto Hold On To?
Revelation 2.12-17
Compiled and Presented by:
Dave Stewart 29 June, 2008

Synopsis: The church in Pergamum was struggling with compromise. They were trying to hold on to Jesus, but some of the Christians were also trying to hold to false worship and sexual immorality. Jesus, who wields a sword will come in to separate if they do not repent. This lesson reminds us that we must be careful of the dichotomy of attempting to hold on to two opposites. Hold fast to Jesus.
“Let all that you do be done with love.”

If Jehovah is God, follow Him; but if Baal, then follow him.”

“Now therefore fear Jehovah and serve Him in sincerity and
faithfulness ...And if it is evil in your eyes to serve Jehovah, choose this day whom you
will serve ...But as for me and my house, we will
serve Jehovah.”Joshua 24.14-15
