متابعة املؤذن بعد األذان قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم : " من قال حين يسمع النداء

) اللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة و الصالة القائمة آت محمدا الوسيلة و الفضيلة و ابعثه مقاما محمودا الذي و عدته (

حلت له الشفاعة يوم القيامة .حديث صحيح


Saying this Du’a after Hearing the AdhanAllah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: ‘Whoever says, when he hears the call to prayer: “Alla-humma rabba hathee-ada’wat it-tammah was-salat il-qaimah, ati Muahmmadan al-wasilah wal-fadilah, wab’athu maqaman mahmudan alladhi wa’adtahu (O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege (of interceding) and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that you have promised), will be granted my intercession on the Day of Resur-rection.”

الدعاء بعد الوضوءقال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم : " ما منكم من أحد يتوضأ فيسبغ

الوضوء ثم يقول حين يفرغ من وضوءه

) أشهد أن ال إله إال اهلل وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله(

إال فتحت له أبواب الجنة الثمانية يدخل من أيها شاء ".حديث صحيح


The Du’a after Wudu’

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever of you performs wudu’ (ablution) carefully and then affirms: ‘Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharika Lahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa Rasuluhu [I testify that there so no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, Who has no part-ners and that Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) is His slave and Messenger],’ the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him. He may enter through whichever of these gates he desires (to enter).”

إتقان الوضوء قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

من توضأ فأحسن الوضوء خرجت خطاياه من جسده حتى تخرج من تحت أظفاره

Perfecting the Wudu’Allah’ Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “He who performs the Wudu’ perfectly (i.e., according to Sunnah), his sins will depart from his body, even from under his nails.”

من راح إلى مسجد الجماعة فخطوة تمحو سيئة و خطوة تكتب له حسنة ذاهبا وراجعا

Taking many Steps to the Mosque

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever goes to the mosque for the congregational prayer, one step towards the mosque wipes out a sin and another rises his status, all through his way to the mosque and back.”

غسل يوم اجلمعة قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

ـر و ابتكر ومشى ولم يركب ودنا من ـل يوم الجمعة و اغتسل ثم بك من غس اإلمام فاستمع ولم يلغ كان له بكل خطوة عمل سنة أجر صيامها

و قيامها

حديث صحيح


Taking a Bath on Friday

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: ‘Whoever takes a bath on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, and walks and does not ride (to the mosque), and sits close to the Imam and listens to him, and does not engage in idle talk; for every step he takes he will have the reward of one year, the reward of a year’s fasting and praying (at night).”

ما هو أجر ؟

صالة الضحى قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه و سلم :

يصبح على كل سالمي من أحدكم صدقة فكل تسبيحة صدقة و كل تهليلة صدقة و كل تكبيرة صدقة و أمر بالمعروف صدقة و نهي عن

المنكر صدقة و يجزي من ذلك ركعتان تركعهما من الضحى

The Dhuha Prayer

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Every morning charity is due from every joint bone of the body of every one of you. Every utterance of Allah’s Glorification (i.e., Subhan-Allah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of praise of Him (i.e., Al-hamdu lillah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of pro-fession of Faith (i.e., La ilaha illallah) is an act of charity, and every utterance of His Greatness (i.e., Allahu Akbar) is an act of charity; and enjoining good is an act of charity and forbidding what is disreputable is an act of charity; and two rak’ah prayer which one offers in the forenoon (Ad- Duha) will suffice for all this.”

من جلس يف مصاله يذكر اهلل قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

المالئكة تصلى على أحدكم ما دام في مصالة الذي صلى فيه مالم يحدث أو يقم اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه ال يزال أحدكم في صالة ما كانت الصالة تحبسة ال يمنعه أن ينقلب إلى أهله إال الصالة

The One sitting in his Musalla Mentioning the Name of Allah

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “The angels keep on asking for Allah’s Blessing and For-giveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not do Hadath (pass-es wind, i.e. keeps his wudu’). The angels say, ‘O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him.’ Each one of you is in the prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and nothing but the prayer detains him from going to his family.”

من صلى العشاء و الفجر يف مجاعة قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

من صلى العشاء في جماعة فكأنما قام نصف الليل ومن صلى الصبح في جماعة فكأنما صلى الليل كله

The One who Prays Isha and Fajr in Congregation

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever prays Isha in congregation, it is as if he spent half the night in prayer, and whoever prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he spent the whole night in prayer.”

من حافظ على السنن الرواتبقال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

من صلى في يوم ثنتي عشرة ركعة بني له بيتا في الجنة أربعا قبل الظهر و ركعتين بعدها و ركعتين بعد المغرب و ركعتين

بعد العشاء وركعتين قبل الفجر

Maintaining the Regular Sunnah Prayers

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever prays twelve rak’ah in a day and night, a house will be built from him in Paradise: Four rak’ah before Zuhr, two rak’ah after it, two rak’ah after Maghrib, two rak’ah after Isha, and two rak’ah before Fajr in the morning Salat.”

(Hadith Sahih)

من ترك املراء و الكذب يف املزاح ومن حسن خلقه

قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

أنا زعيم ببيت في ربض الجنة لمن ترك المراء وإن كان محقا و ببيت في وسط الجنة لمن ترك الكذب و إن كان مازحا و ببيت في أعلى الجنة لمن

حسن خلقه

Abandoning Arguing and Lying while Joking and Committing to Good Manners

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “I guarantee a house in Paradise for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who has good manners.”

من صلى أربعني يوما يدرك تكبرية اإلحرام قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

من صلى هلل أربعين يوما في جماعة يدرك التكبيرة األولى كتب له براءتان براءة من النار و براءة من النفاق

Praying Forty Days in Congregation Catching the First Takbir

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever performs prayers for Allah for forty days in congregation, catching the first Takbir, two absolutions are written for him: absolution from the Hellfire, and absolution from hypocrisy.”

صالة الجماعة تفضل صالة الفذ بسبع و عشرين درجة

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Prayer in congregation is better than the prayer of a man by himself by twenty-seven degrees.”

الصالة على اجلنازة ثم اتباعها حتى تدفن قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه و سلم :

من شهد الجنازة حتى يصلى عليها فله قيراط ومن شهدها حتى تدفن فله قيراطان

قيل : وما القيراطان ؟ قال مثل الجبلين العظيمين

حديث صحيح


Following the Funeral Procession and Offering the Funer-al Prayer for it

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever follows the funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer for it, will get a reward equal to one Qirat, and whoever attends it till burial, will get a reward equal to two Qirat.’’ It was asked, “What are two Qirat?’’ He (Peace Be upon Him) replied, “Equal to two huge mountains.”

قال رسول اهلل صلى اهلل عليه وسلم :

من قال رضيت باهلل ربا و باإلسالم دينا وبمحمد نبيا وجبت له الجنة

Saying: I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion and with Muhammad as Apostle Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: (If anyone says “I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion and with Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) as Apostle” Paradise will be his due.)

من سأل اهلل الشهادة بصدق بلغه اهلل منازل الشهداء و إن مات على فراشه

Supplicating to Allah Sincerely for Martyrdom

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “He who supplicates Allah sincerely for martyrdom, Allah will elevate him to the station of the martyrs, even if he dies on his bed.”

من سره أن يبسط له في رزقه و ينسأ في أثره فليصل رحمه

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Anyone who is pleased that his sustenance is expanded and his age extended should do kindness to his near relatives. (i.e. upholding the ties of Kinship)”

من قرأ آية الكرسي دبر كل صالة مكتوبة لم يمنعه من دخول الجنة إال أن يموت

Reciting Ayat al-Kursiy after each Prescribed PrayerAllah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever recites Aayat al-Kursiy immediately after each obligatory prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”

من قال سبحان اهلل العظيم و بحمده غرست له بها نخلة في الجنة

Saying ‘Subhan Allah il-azeem wa bi hamdihi’

Allah’s Messenger said: “Whoever says Subhan Allah il-azeem wa bi hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah, the Almighty), a palm tree will be planted for him in Paradise.”

Saying the Supplication for Seeking Forgiveness (Syed-ul- Istighfar) in the Morning and NightAllah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “The Supplication for Seeking Forgiveness (Syed-ul- Istighfar) is to say: ‘Allahumma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, a’udhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya, wa abu’u bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta. (O Allah! You are my Rubb. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favors that You have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).’ He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise.”

Mentioning Allah upon Entering the House and Eating

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “If a person mentions the Name of Allah upon entering his house or eating, Satan says, addressing his followers: ‘You will find nowhere to spend the night and no dinner.’ But if he enters without mentioning the Name of Allah, Satan says (to his followers); ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in, and if he does not mention the Name of Allah at the time of eat-ing, Satan says: ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in as well as food.”’

Relieving a Muslim from one of the Hardships, Making it Easy for Him or Concealing his FaultsAllah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “If anyone relieves a Muslim believer from one of the hardships of this worldly life, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. If anyone makes it easy for the one who is indebted to him (while finding it difficult to repay), Allah will make it easy for him in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and in the Hereafter.”

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Whoever sits in a gathering and indulges in useless talk and before getting up supplicates: ‘Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu an la ilaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaika (O Allah, You are free from every imperfection; praise be to You. I testify that there is no true god except You; I ask Your Pardon and turn to You in repentance),’ he will be forgiven for (the sins he may have committed) in that assembly.”

Getting up at Night and Supplicating to Allah

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him): “Whoever gets up at night and says: -- ‘La ilaha il-lallah Wahdahu la Sharika lahu Lahu-lmulk, waLahu-l-hamd wahuwa ‘ala kullishai’in Qadir. Al hamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha il-lal-lah wa-l-lahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah.’ (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah). And then says: -- Allahumma, Ighfir li (O Allah! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted.”

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “Any one performs wudu’ (ablution) and performs the wudu’ perfectly and then offers two rak’ahs of prayers concentrating on them with his heart and face but paradise will necessarily fall to his lot.”

من قال ال إله إال اهلل وحده ال شريك له ، له الملك و له الحمد وهو على كل شئ قدير في يوم مائة مرة

كانت له عدل عشر رقاب و كتبت له مائة حسنة ومحيت عنه مائة سيئة وكانت له حرزا من الشيطان يومه ذلك حتى يمسي ولم يأت أحد بأفضل مما جاء به إال أحد عمل عمال أكثر من ذلك

Uttering: The Testimony of Faith

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “He who utters a hundred times in a day these words: ‘La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli sha’in Qadir (there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),’ he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit, hundred of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him.”

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “…I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier. These are: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, `adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinatah `arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi [Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise)].”

Dhikr after the Obligatory Prayer

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “He who recites after every prayer: Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection) thirty-three times; Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times; Alla-hu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shai’in Qadir (there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent), will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.”

Allah’s Messenger (Peace Be upon Him) said: “…Your prayer in your room is better for you than your prayer in your courtyard and your prayer in your courtyard is better for you than your praying in your house, and your prayer in your house is better for you than your prayer in the mosque of your people, and your prayer in the mosque of your people is better for you than your prayer in my mosque.”

(Hadith Sahih)The prayer of a woman in her house is better than her prayer in the Prophet’s Mosque, in which praying is more excellent than a thousand prayers observed in other mosques.
